Just Saw KING KONG (warning...another "what's wrong with people" post)

As a side note, I did see one family leave the theatres, 3 boys about 5,7,9, two of them crying. The dad went up to the box office and got his money back! I don't know what they were watching--possbily crying over Narnia, or Kong, or what (didn't look like a Kong type of family though, but about 7 movies were showing at the multiplex) but if they saw something so upsetting that 2 of the kids were crying, they should have done a little more research rather than asking for their money back.

We had this happen to us one time. I thought I had researched pretty well, picked an appropriate movie(White Fang) and about 15 minutes into the movie the wolf was starving and was about to fall into a trap set by the hunters with a white rabbit as bait--you get the picture. I could see where this was going and I knew right then there was no way my DS was going to handle this. We left and explained to the theater manager, who graciously refunded our money. We didn't demand it and the theater owner made a friend for life because of the way he handled us.

Sometimes parents just overestimate their kids. :confused3 I don't have a problem saying I made a mistake, could we come back another time?
