Just saved 240.00 on my Enterprise Reservation!!!

I have had my car rental reservation reserved since march, I was just looking around online tonight and typed in my dates and got the same exact rental for 240.00 less then what I had my reservation for..I called and they changed it..I love saving money since this vacation is going to be on a budget anyway...

I recheck rates frequently. I find that rates can really drop within 2 weeks of the start of my trip. I've cut the rate in half by rechecking within the last week (even two dates from my arrival date).

If you have a costco membership, remember to check their rates online. They can have great discounts on Alamo (I've paid as little as $35/week plus taxes) and have a discounted rate for Enterprise too.

They gave me a 10 percent off card plus double upgrade last year because of some issues with the van not being cleaned out and hardly any gas in it when we picked it up..I didnt complain the sales lady was mad when she took me out to car so it will help this year on top of the great rate..

Good job! I'll check on my existing Enterprise rental periodically too. Sometimes I forget, but I really want that rate to go down, so I'll start right now.

Since I had time, I checked on my reservation just now. I don't even remember if I used this code last time, but first I tried an Entertainment book code for 10% off daily and the price went down. Then I noticed that there was a 10% off weekly rate (ENBKWY2) and tried that. That is $121 lower than my original rate! Not that I was thrilled w/ the original rate, but it was the lowest of the ones that I checked out that day. Now I'm actually happy. My rate works out to $26.35/day for a 7.6 day rental for a full-size car.
