Just Returned - Vacation Home Rental

Just returned from 6 nights in a vacation home rental. Wanted to let you all know that we rented from Vacation By The Mouse. Our home was in an addition off I-4 exit 58, near Champions Gate, called Sandy Ridge. It is a huge addition with what seemed like hundreds of homes. Our house was a 5 bedroom, pool-jacuzzi house and was very, very nice. Also, the price was extremely reasonable.

I would definitely rent from Vacation By the Mouse again. I enjoyed being away from the 192 corridor, and in a quiet location. There was a grocery store, gas station, Walgreens and several restaurants at Champions Gate. There was even a UPS store where we printed our boarding passes before we left.

If anyone has any questions, I would be happy to answer if I can.

Since this question gets asked a lot on this board, I'll bite and ask you how the drive to the disney parks was from that location. how much time did it take you?

It really depended on the time of day. If we got around early, 5-8 minutes. Later on !-4 got really congested.

We found a couple back ways around that helped as well.

We have stayed in 4 different villas in this area since Maqy 2002.
We really liked the convenience. Traffic on I4 is definitely worse now than it was in 2002. However, there is a back way you can go on Old Lake Wilson Rd where you avoid I4 altogether and only are on 192 for one block.
There has been a lot of new construction in the area though so even Old Lake Wilson road gets backed up at times.

I couldn't get the page to come up, so I did a search on Google and got:

vacationeardisney (dot) us (instead of com), and it came up fine.
