Having just returned from a glorious five day/four night trip, I thought I would give a very brief report along with a few observations...
Ohana (Dinner, 9/15) - After a 7PM check-in at The Poly, we made our way to the Great Ceremonial House for dinner at Ohana. We had an ADR for 7:45PM, and were escorted to our table within a few minutes of our arrival. We (DD, DW and myself) loved the food, although the service was a bit slow at the outset (it took a long time for our waiter to make his initial visit to our table).
Boma (Dinner, 9/16) - Our favorite restaurant at WDW, and we were not disappointed. Food was excellent, service was great. Low crowds, no waiting. A highlight of the trip.
Jiko (Dinner, 9/17) - While we had a nice time here, Jiko was our least favorite experience. The food was, on the whole, excellent, but DD did not like her dessert at all. Our main gripe was with our server...we just didn't "connect" with her in that magical Disney way. She had a bit of an "edge" which was not at all Disney-like. She also couldn't get my American Express $50 dining cards to work (I called Amex the next day...nothing wrong with the cards. We had no problems with two previous cards I used at Ohana and Boma).
Nine Dragons (Dinner, 9/18) - We enjoyed our meal at Nine Dragons. The food was very good (not great) and our server was very nice (although there was a bit of a language barrier when my wife ordered her Grey Goose martini!).
Captain Cook's (at the Poly, various meals) - The temporary location was a bit inconvenient, but for the most part we enjoyed the sandwiches, burgers, flatbread pizzas, etc.
On the whole, we had a pleasant "dining experience." Because of the low crowds at WDW, the restaurants were never packed, and the wait for our table was never long. I've always found the service at WDW restaurants to be hit or miss...and this was the case during our most recent trip. Also, there was a lot of confusion regarding my "cast member" discount (or lack thereof). At Ohana and Boma, I was told that the cast member blackout had been lifted, and I was given a discount. At Jiko and Nine Dragons, I was told that the blackout was still in effect. I did, however, receive a discount at all times at Captain Cook's...and that was a nice thing given some of the prices!
