Review Just returned from Vistana

We stayed at the Vistana Resort Saturday to Saturday.
Just DH and me so I requested a very quiet one bedroom on the top floor of Lakes section. Exactly what we got! It was very clean and quiet...the balcony looked over a pond and trees, nothing else! Wonderful having breakfast on the balcony in my pj's every day!
Only disappointment was the lack of a whirlpool tub...I somehow thought all units have them. I guess not the one bedrooms! But not really a problem. Staff was friendly and helpful. We were renting so our unit got cleaned daily and the dish soap and dishwasher soap replenished daily too. Plenty of towels and paper goods, and tons of soap in the bath. Overall a good stay. We sure didn't want to leave that perfect weather to come home to cold and rain!

Did you have to sit thru any kind of sales pitch? I've looked at the Vistana many times, but the thought of having to go thru that always scares me off.

Nope. Checked in quite late at night, no nobody approached us then. We had a call around 9-10am every day, but weren't there to answer until Thursday (and I thought it was DH calling from the exercise room) so I picked up. The woman started to explain all the "goodies" for attending the presentation, but I politely explained that we really had no time to attend, so she let it go and never called again.

So glad to hear you had a nice experience at Vistana! We are heading there next week and we are so excited! Tell me please, did you notice any rehab construction going on? If so, which sections and did it have any impact on your stay? TIA!

We were in Lakes, and Lakes and Fountains sections are sort of separated from all the others. The only time we ventured into the other sections was late one night when we took a wrong turn returning from the Parks and got lost over there! Never saw any signs of construction going on...
