I think the POP rooms may be slightly smaller than a regular hotel room. It's not a room I would want to hang out all day in, but it was fine for what we needed it for. Again, waited for my kids to comment, they didn't say anything.
I watched the fireworks next to the lake at the end of the 50's building. There are benches along the path. There was only one other lady out on the path the night we were out.
The one morning we took the bus to MK, we were probably at the stop at about 7:50. This got us to the gates (through security and tickets) by about 8:35. Plenty of time for the 9:00 opening. Just to let you know, we drove to the TTC another morning, probably left about the same time. We parked so close that the tram didn't stop there and we had to walk (I think it was Minnie section). The monorail pulled up while we were waiting, we got to ride in the front. We were at the gates about the same time as the day we took the bus.
I know the 30 minutes wait sound silly. (this was in Fantasy Land and the fast passes were gone for the mountains, there lines were in the 60-70 minutes range) It was sooo hot and although the lines weren't long, it was literally wall to wall people. It was hard to walk and keep your party together. Maybe after being at AK all day we just weren't in the mood to deal with crowds and lines. Especially doing MK first thing in the morning on Monday, (arriving at 9) we did Dumbo, Peter Pan, Small World, Pooh, Snow White, Philharmagic, Haunted Mansion, Splash, got FP for BTM and was sitting for lunch about 11:30. It was hard to wait for these things again after they were walk ons.
