Just returned from a stay at the HRH. Overall it was a great experience (we stayed there last summer too), but when we checked out today, there were problems with the bill. I requested an upgrade to club level with my Loew's First (I had a pool view reserved at a special rate). We were told we could upgrade for $50 more per night, and we decided to go for it. Our bill showed a $150 charge for 3 nights of club upgrade, but also showed 3 room charges at the more expensive rate (i.e., we were double-charged for the room upgrade). Also we had a duplicate charge for an item bought at a store at IOA.
Both of these were corrected, but it took about 30 min. of standing at the checkout counter to get it done.
On a positive note, "No line, no wait" came in VERY HANDY this trip, because the parks, esp. IOA, were super-crowded.

Thanks for the heads-up grumpyandbashful. I'll be double checking my bill now. Can't wait to stay at the new RPH, but I have yet to receive my Loew's First membership card.

Seems to be common at HRH and Portofino. Memorial weekend my sis was charged twice for the same bill at the restaurant downstairs. They removed it, no question, but annoying to deal with none-the-less.

How was club level? Worth the extra money? Details, please...we're thinking of staying club, but not if it's not worth it.

Club is very nice - whether or not it's worth the extra $$ is a hard decision. If you have kids, it is really convenient.
Breakfast is from 7:30 to 10:30 - juices, coffee, teas, milk, soda (coke, Diet Coke, Sprite), bottled water, many kinds of donuts, muffins, cold cereals, fresh fruit (cantaloupe, honeydew, watermelon, strawberries, pineapple), bagels with cream cheese, toast, jellies, etc. Kids can go to the lounge barefoot, etc. and feel comfortable there (a little more casual than Disney club levels).

From 5-7 they have beer and wine, soda, coffee, tea, cheeses, chips, crackers, raw veggies with dip, etc. One evening when it was raining (think monsoon!) and people were stuck in the hotel, they also had chicken wings and mini hot-dogs.

From 8:30-10:00 (I think), they have great cookies (PB, choc. chip, oatmeal raisin, Oreos), and milk.

Soda, bottled water, coffee and tea is in the lounge all day and evening.

The club staff is very helpful and nice and will assist you with any questions or problems.

Staying in club sort of magnifies the great experience you have at HRH with no line, no wait, etc. But I would still have a great time at HRH in a regular room.

Were you using the resort ID card? I have seen brief info on this program and was hoping it was smoother than decifering cc charges...since it would be the ones only made on our trip....?

Yes, all charges were made to our room, and at least I could look at our bill and know right away what was amiss. I took the bill to checkout around 7:30 a.m. and got it straightened out, although each change had to go through accounting at the hotel and the whole process took over 1/2 hour.

I hate to say it but be careful. That final bill is not final and they can recharge anything they want. They did this to my sister 4 months after our trip. The CC company took it off once but HRH resubmitted it agai nand the CC will not drop them again. I wouldn't give HRH my business again if my life depended on it. I urge anyone staying at the HRH to not put a credit card on file if possibvle and do not put charging privilges on you room key.
