Believe me, I was HAPPY to have gotten the reservations and am happy that I attended both princess breakfasts. I can say this though b/c I used my american express points for the breakfasts to be free...otherwise..I think I would have been a little disappointed. Cinderellas' was nice - I have always liked the food. The only characters were Cinderella (who I could have met in Toon Town), Belle and Sleeping Beauty (who please forgive me was SO TAN my little girl asked what was wrong with her face...She looked liked a very aged sleeping beauty...). Pochontas was in the lobby for pictures so that was neat....but I didnt' think the princess assortment was as hearty as it was in the past. But we did that on Friday. Sunday I almost skipped the STorybook breakfast b/c of the time but really wanted to see it for myself...The food was not good - very greasy....The character variety was good though - SW, Jasmine, Belle, MP and SB (a fresher version this time!). However though the week we stumbled across ALL of these characters and saw them up close and in person for photos so seeing them together was not a great shake for us. At 20 a head and 22 a head at Cindy's I think it could be done a little better. So if you CANNOT get the ressies, DO NOT LOSE SLEEP.

Thanks for your post! I've been trying for one of these with no success. My girls are 4 and 3 so I have another character breakfast at Tony's.

This made me feel better about not getting ressies! I think the 'hunt' has gotten me frazzled and perhaps it shouldn't.

Thanks!

Those princesses need to use sunblock! LOL!!!;)

It's great that the face characters are being seen in the parks!

Furthermore, I cannot say ENOUGH about TOnys lunch...with pooh and friends. UNREAL. Food is DELICIOUS, price is 16.99 for sit down all you can eat...AND if you go at 3:00 you can see the parade from indoors and then the characters come back for more pictures!! You have the place to yourself after 3:00 and we did this twice in a row acutally, we loved it that much! Would do this any day over the princess breakfast..

How much was it per adult for the Princess Storybook bfast? I thought that price was not going to increase.

Thanks!
Beth

Just wondering if your DD noticed the differences between the two Sleeping Beauty's?

We went to both last week. Sept.26th Cindy's and Sept.27th Princess. My girls are 5 and 7. It was the best money we spent all week the food at both was great. You get all you want. I can't tell you the exact price of each but Cindy's was 55 and Princess was 52 I think. It was just like the commercials. Getting up at 6:50 everyday for a week. Spending 55 dollars on breackfast. Seeing the faces of your girls seeing Cinderella for the first time......PRICELESS. If we ever go to WDW again I will definatly try for the seats again.

19.99 for Storybook Breakfast per adult. No idea if it is going to rise. But Cindy's will tomorrow to 21.99. Believe me, I did it in April and Loved it...but I really think the cast of princesses has a lot to do with it. This cast we had on 9/25 I didn't think looked to hot. Belle did, she is my favorite Belle. But the sleeping beauty??? For my 3.5 dd to ask what is wrong with her face (she was so tan!)...but we saw her again on Sunday at Belle's Breakfast and it was a different one but I dont' think it registered with her...and the Jasmine that was there??? Well she didn't look too much like Jasmine to me...My husband had an interesting thought - perhaps all the younger girls are back in school now and in April they were on spring break and working...The sleeping beauty had to be in her 30's at least and looked older with the tan...The jasmine too looked older....And please if you got ressies, you will have a GREAT TIME< how could you not? I am just simply saying I was able to see all the princesses fairly easy thru park scheduled appearances...And this past week of both character breakfasts could not hold a candle to the character cast I had in April. But we did see Pochontas (very realistic) this trip and we did not last trip in the castle lobby... Maybe I was spoiled having such a perfect five in april all at the castle at once, I don't know....But this past castle experience was disappointing. I would TRY for it again next year, but WILL NOT go overboard to get it.

You now whats funny. The Snow White at the princess breakfast I thought she looked about 12 even my husband commented on how young she was. HaHaHa. My girls didn't notice though. I did notice that the Aurora at the castle was better than the Aurora at the Princess breakfast. It must have been the same Belle because she said to my daughter didn't I see you yesterday at the castle and we were there the day before. Anyway as long as the girls loved it that is all that matters. I can't believe that the price is going up. 22.00 is so not worth it for breakfast. It is eggs for goodness sake. Chef Mickeys is that price and you get Prime rib, ham, turkey, pototoes dessert etc. I know you are paying for the character interaction but I think that they are taking anvantige off the popularity of Cinderella. Oh well I guess people will still pay for it.

I'm just floored that they're charging that much for breakfast! My dd doesn't even eat anything at the breakfasts, she does enjoy the princesses and dressing in her princess dress, but c'mon that is so outrageous! Didn't mind paying for her when it was 14 or 15 for mine but $22, that's sad! plus the cost of hers that she doesn't even eat!

We do have PS for PSB and I was thinking about calling for CRT for one specific day with the attitude if we get PS great, if not then that's fine too. (Just really enjoyed walking down Main Street before park opening:)), can't do Pooh breakfast, dd would be upset we weren't going to the castle:( to see the princesses.

Like scottmel said, you can see Cinderella at Toontown and we'll see the rest at PSB.

I was at Cindy's this past fri the 27th of sep and the food was mediocre at best and the Characters were a plump Cinderella, Belle, Snow White, Mary Poppins, and Aladdin. The fairy Godmother was in the waiting area. This is one breakfast I doubt if I'lldo it again.

We did the Storybook one on tuesday the 24th and the food was really good! The characters were Sleeping Beauty, Belle, Snow White, Jasmine and Mary Poppins. The nice thing about eating here is that you don't get rushed to eat and move out for the next party to take your table. The service was wonderful and the character intervention was a lot better than CRT>

no one could confirm for me if I could use AMEX vouchers at Storybook so I did not take a chance on trying since it was my last breakfast of the week. we burned them at Cape May, which was very nice... Funny someone else said about a plump cinderella! JAsmine, in April, was gorgeous. The jasmine we had sunday had a roll of belly fat hanging over her pants and my little girl told me "look mommy she ate too many french fries! ". (My dd loves fries and I tell her her belly won't fit in her pants if she eats too many..). I about died...Jasmine DID NOT hear her but still....I just really was disappointed! This was on 9/29 at Storybook... Snow Wite was darling but Belle looked NOTHING like Belle.....Oh well! We did see a pretty Jasmine at the photo opp in the park and the princesses really were everywhere last week..no trouble getting pictures or autographs...

Isn't it funny we were there all last week and we went to CRT and PSB and that was the only time we saw the princesses all week besides Cinderella's celebration and Belle's storytime. How did we miss that. Not at the right place. I guess. I thought that the cinderella was alittle thick also. But we didn't feel rushed at either place just the opposite. We sorta had to wait for our checks at both places we just wanted to go after they saw the princesses. Wanted to get out in the parks. Was it hot or what last week. I was glad for some of the rain we got

Last time we were at WDW we saw princesses everywhere. We saw Jasmine and Alladdin, Meg, Snow white, Mary Poppins and Bert, all at MGM around the area the big hat is in. They were there signing autographs and taking pics. Then we saw Cinderella, Ariel and Alice at the MK. Ihe only princess we didn't see was Sleepy Beauty. I was really happy we didn't do the breakfast since we saw them all in the parks anyway, just some hope for those that don't want to or can't pay a ton of money for breakfast!

I, for one, seem to prefer "older" character performers.

IMO, "older" performers are usually nicer, sweeter, friendlier, more curteous, more inviting, more comfortable, more understanding, more open-minded and more willing to interact with (and accept interactions from) older guests, such as myself.

I was happy to hear that the character interaction at psb is good. this will be our 6th trip in 6 years and wehave had breakfast at the castle at least once each trip. My dd was 2 1/2 at our first visit and the interaction with her was amazing. However each year I have felt more and more rushed. Last year I thought the princesses were all having a bad day-they seemed in a hurry to get to the next table. I know this breakfast is extremely popular and they need to see everyone but they should take time or at least find a more graceful way to hurry. My dd is 7 now and does not want to go back to the castle! She did say that she would try psb and seems excited about this. I have many fond memories and great pictures from cindy's but I was disappointed with last year.

It has been my experience that the face characters in WDW are not in general as "look appropriate" to the character they are playing as the ones in Disneyland. The same seems to hold with the talent for the stage shows. I attribute this to the film industry in LA. They just have a larger talent pool to choose from.

However all the face characters at both parks that I have encountered were fun and loved what they were doing. I also agree that the "older" characters do seem to have more patience and play with adults a bit more.

However, I'm really sorry but you just CANT be playing Jasmine in a midriff top with your belly hanging over your pants. Hey as we get older, most of us get a little tummy but there are other characters (such as Mary Poppins) that you can play where your "assets" dont hang out. I don't have a flat tummy anymore and I certainly wouldn't be playing Jasmine if the costume didn't fit.
