Good morning everyone! I just returned from an AWESOME trip to WDW!! My BF and I, both in our twenties, went from 12/8-12/13. We stayed at the WL and LOVED it. Our room was great (we had a king bed with handicapped accessible bathroom on the 6th floor), service was impeccable, and the ambiance was just perfect for the holidays.
Crowds were manageable, but not dead! We never waited more than 15-20 minutes without a fastpass, which isnt too bad! I definitely want to suggest getting to the parks at opening. We got SOOOO much done in the first hour and a half especially at MK and AK. We noticed the Pop Warner group a bit, but it wasnt too bad. Last year it was much worse when I stayed at POR, as the Pop Group was staying there. Expedition Everest was amazing and is now my new favorite ride at WDW!
We attended MVMCP on the 11th and both thought it was great and well worth the money, we especially liked the fireworks and the Celebrate the Season castle show. We did the Around the World on a Segway Tour .it was FANTASTIC!! I HIGHLY recommend this to everyone! The sleigh ride at WL was also very romantic and worth the $$!
We were also on the dining plan and ate at San Angel Inn, Alfredos (Using the Candlelight Processional Dinner Package), Chef Mickeys, California Grill, Pizzafari, Tonys Restaurant, Coral Reef, Seasons, Sci-Fi Dine In, Roaring Fork, and Cinderellas Royal Table. We also indulged in many snacks, like Gingerbread Mickeys (YUMMMM), cinnamon coated almonds, ice cream, and lots of hot cocoa!
I will be doing a dining review and trip report with pictures very soon, but I am happy to answer any questions if you would like specifics. I will be starting my trip report today, and will add pictures by Monday the 18th at the latest. We definitely got some unexpected pixie dust that I will describe in more detail in my trip report!
