Good morning everyone! I just returned from an AWESOME trip to WDW!! My BF and I, both in our twenties, went from 12/8-12/13. We stayed at the WL and LOVED it. Our room was great (we had a king bed with handicapped accessible bathroom on the 6th floor), service was impeccable, and the ambiance was just perfect for the holidays.
Crowds were manageable, but not dead! We never waited more than 15-20 minutes without a fastpass, which isn’t too bad! I definitely want to suggest getting to the parks at opening. We got SOOOO much done in the first hour and a half…especially at MK and AK. We noticed the Pop Warner group a bit, but it wasn’t too bad. Last year it was much worse when I stayed at POR, as the Pop Group was staying there. Expedition Everest was amazing and is now my new favorite ride at WDW!
We attended MVMCP on the 11th and both thought it was great and well worth the money, we especially liked the fireworks and the “Celebrate the Season” castle show. We did the “Around the World on a Segway Tour”….it was FANTASTIC!! I HIGHLY recommend this to everyone! The sleigh ride at WL was also very romantic and worth the $$!
We were also on the dining plan and ate at San Angel Inn, Alfredo’s (Using the Candlelight Processional Dinner Package), Chef Mickey’s, California Grill, Pizzafari, Tony’s Restaurant, Coral Reef, Season’s, Sci-Fi Dine In, Roaring Fork, and Cinderella’s Royal Table. We also indulged in many snacks, like Gingerbread Mickey’s (YUMMMM), cinnamon coated almonds, ice cream, and lots of hot cocoa!
I will be doing a dining review and trip report with pictures very soon, but I am happy to answer any questions if you would like specifics. I will be starting my trip report today, and will add pictures by Monday the 18th at the latest. We definitely got some unexpected pixie dust that I will describe in more detail in my trip report!

Great to hear you had a wonderful trip! I also love WL. We too had a king room with walk in shower. It was the best. Holidays are wonderfull at WDW.

We will be at the WL in 2 days

:thumbsup2 Glad you had a great time and hope we have the same!!! :thumbsup2

Glad you had a great time. How was the weather? We're leaving this Saturday and looks like it's pretty warm! :sunny:

It was very cold the first two days (the first night we froze watching the CP and Illuminations!) but warmed up considerably after that! I am from California and I get cold easily so I wore a light long sleeved shirt and pants during the day, and then added a sweater/jacket, hat, gloves, scarf as needed. It rained yesterday and drizzeled on the 11th and 12th, but it wasn't anything major! Hopefully you have a great weather as well! I am so jealous that you all are just starting your vacation...I want to go back NOW!

Glad you had a good time...sounds like a blast. p.s. my husband just returned from the hospital and a therapy dog came to visit him! It was so nice. :)
