We had a wonderful time!! We are a family of 4. DH and me and DD, 12 and DS 6.
The first day Sunday we ate at the food court and rested.
All sTar Music Resort.
Monday. We ate at a food court in Magic Kindom at Comics Ray in tomorrowland. We had the Big Dippers and Steak sandwiches. I thought the Big Dippers taste better then the steak sandwiches.
That night we ate in the food court at ASMu.
Tuesday Epcot. We had lunch at Garden Grill and celebrated my husband Birthday. The food was excellent and all you can eat. The characters were wonderful with the family. My husband was given a nice 6inch cake with mickey on top. Well, my DH enjoyed it so much he over ate. So, that kind of mess up our afternoon. We had to head back to the resort for him to rest. That night we all had cereal in the room. After eating the large meal we all weren't that hungry.
Weds. MGM. Here we ate at Pizza Planet. Pizza with salad. I feel this was great price plus very good for a counter service. My DS really enjoyed the food here. We ate outside the restaurant. This evening we also ate in our room. Snacking all day with ice cream and pop corn we were full. It did rain this day in the evening. A light shower. We had cup of soups in our room.
Thursday Animal Kingdom. We had Donald Duck Breakfast. The food was good but the characters were very much in a rush. Hardly no interaction with us. This night we ate at the Alsmu. I had the steak sandwich which was very good. Kids had chicken strips which was good too. DH had double cheese which you can't go wrong.
Friday Epcot Well, since my husband had a problem pigging out at sit down restaurants we decided not to eat at l'Oringinale Alfredo fo Rome. So, we decided to eat at the counter services around the countries. This worked out wonderful for my family. At China we order 2 child meals, egg roll and beef rice which was really good. Then we had Germany Bratwurst served with sauerkraut $5.99 we split this in four ways. Very good. Then TANGIERINE CAFE at morocco, Shawarma Sandwiches Lamb- served with hummus, marinated red onions, lettuce & tomato, topped with Taziki sauce. This was really tastie and after tasting there food I love to try their restaurant. Then Boulangerie Patisserie, France. Yummy.Napoleon $3.50,Chocolate Eclair $3.50,and a chocolate cake which my DH loved and really would not share. After eating all this we were full. I really recommand to trying everything especialy when its hard to decide what country to eat at. Be honest with you I don't remember where or what we ate that night.
Saturday. Lunch MGM 50's Prime time. I do recommand to get reservation for this restaurants. People were trying to walk up without reserveration but had a 40 to 45 minute wait. A lot of people were a upset about this. I had the chicken pot pie very good. DD had the fried chicken, this was reall good. You do get 3 pieces of chicken, DH had Old-Fashioned Pot Roast which also really good. DS had chicken strips. Then we had 2 banana splits very Yummy. Dinner we had counter services at ALSMu.
Sunday MK Lunch Cinderella's Royal TAble. Here we celebrated DD birthday. she order, Major Domo's Favorite Pie - tender slices of prime rib of beef simmered in rich cabernet sauce with red skinned mashed potatoes, crowning a light pastry $15, Yummy and Bibiddi Bobbidi Brew $8, A frozen smoothie served in cinderella's glass mug.Was very Yummy. I order Soup Du Jour $4, mushroom soup, YUMMY and Anastasia's field greens with wild mushrooms and gorgonzola with raspberry vinaigrette, $9. It
was a very large salad. I could not eat it all. DH, I made him order a salad so he would not get sick from eating again. DH had Royal Caesar SAlad With char-crusted chicken and asiago heese tulile $13 DS order chicken strips with mashed potatoes and corn, $4.99. We really enjoy this lunch. Very please with everything. Only thing Cinderella or God Mother or any character was not down in the longe. DD did recieve a ice cup with a chocolate crown on top. I did get the dessert menu and lunch menu and sent it to Deb.
Monday Epcot. Lunch around the world. First we ate at United Kingdom, Fish and chips, we order two. Then Kringla og Bakeri, Norway, Almond patery, Yummy, Mexico,Cantina de San Angel,Cantina Nachos - Tortilla chips, beef, cheese, tomatoes, jalepeno peppers, sour cream, black refried beans $6.50, Plato del Nino - Child size beef burrito, tortilla chips and a small soft drink $3.50. This was really good. Now back in 95, when we went the food was trouble at the restaurant. I am willing try them again.
