Welp, this will be our first time off site.... we have always stayed on property, but we thought we'd appreciate the extra room this time around, and frankly we're just looking for a different feel.

We're so excited and can't wait.... We chose a 3 BR condo in Windsor Hills, from Magical Vacation Homes (Leigh and Ros I believe are their names?).

Approximately 62 days.... On June 1 .... We will be in our happy place!!!!

You and I are in the same boat!! First time offsite here too!! I waited and waited on Disney to give me a deal and well I just gave up. I can't justify paying $1,000.00 more for the same exact trip I took last year. I came very close to booking with the same company, but won a Bonnet Creek rental on e-bay for the same price. We will be there June 9-17. We have decided this year to do 6 days at Disney and 2 at Universal Studios. Excited about trying something new! I am however worried about not having the dining plan. We have not made any dining reservations and with the dining plan we did one TS meal per day. I think we are going to try some places out in town opposed to in the park and eat in the condo some. I'm interested in comparing the onsite price to the off site price. Please let us know how it all goes with them because I may be interested in staying in Windsor Hills next year. It looks like a beautiful resort. Hope you have a magical trip!!

Same here. Our first Time off site too. Three family's going together splitting the cost of the house. We are looking forward to a slower paced vacation this time around. And a pool out our back door. Will certainly be a big change. Going June 23-30 can't wait.

Good for you and I dont think you will be sorry you stayed offsite. We have never stayed on property because I cannot justify the cost. We got a qoute from those same owners and they seem great but ultimately we decided to go with a 4 bdrm townhouse in Encantada and we cant wait either!! Yay for June!!!!

Yay for June trippers!!
We're going June 1-8 and the price of this condo is nearly $400 cheaper than a moderate resort room onsite! When I priced it out I think it was $360 ish cheaper, isn't that crazy?!?!

Can't wait, hope you all have great trips too!!

I just returned today from our week stay at Windsor Hills. We also had Ros as our contact person. We stayed at a 3 bedroom 3 bath townhouse on Renshaw street. So if you have any questions about townhouse, fire away. We never made it to the clubhouse or main pool. Did many of our meals at the townhouse. Shopped at the big Target less than 2 miles away from WH.

Another first time offsite family that booked today as well!! We booked Bonnet Creek though.
The price for the 2bdrm deluxe for 8 nights was 1200 cheaper than what we had booked onsite. 1200!!!!!!!! Not to mention we will have 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a living room to spread out in.
I was very hesitant.. but for that price and from the pictures and reviews I am getting excited.
We have AP's so we'll use our TIW card for onsite meals and explore some offsite places. 1200 dollars in savings will more than make up for having to rent a car.
I don't know that I will ever be able to convince my husband to go back onsite once he gets some extra space and saves all that money!

We also booked through magicalvacationhomes.com but we are staying in one of their 3br condos at Reunion Resort at the end of June. All our contact with them has been great so far so hopefully that is a good sign.
