bought at HH site unseen....been to OKW and SSR this summer so im excited about going to HH...me my family and my golf clubs will be making the trip......can you request a particular area at HH

You can request (no guarantees though) a certain building or view. We have usually requested a building and have been pretty lucky. I think some of that is because we generally stay right off the island (in Bluffton) the night before and are checking in by 8:30/9am. I don't remember the building locations for the Grand Villas though. We had one back in 2004 and for the life of me -- I can't remember which building it was.

Yes you can request an area at HH - but there are only 5 GVs at the resort. They are located in bldgs# 16,18,19, 28 and 30.

Building 18 has a "marsh" view - overlooking Broad Creek - and the other 4 have "island" views with interior wooded areas and other buildings to see. All are nice (the GVs are great), but I wouldn't get hung up on a specific building or view since there are so few. Depending on when you arrive (what day and what time) there may not be any choice at all - you'll just get what is available.

We had a GV last week at HH. We had a cash rental for Saturday night and stayed in a Studio the night before. Our GV was unoccupied on Friday night, so we were able to move into the GV at 7:30am on Sat. From Sunday - Thursday all GVs were occupied.

We were in Building 19 - an "island" view villa. We had a view of a couple of other buildings, a horseshoe pit, hammock lost of trees and a charcoal grill. Parking was right outside our building and we could see the harbour from the front door.
