I've been waiting until April dollars were posted to order my card. I have $968. Once I transfer May dollars, I'll be close to $1000. Using the DDE card and AP discount, I hope that the $1000 will pay for all of our food while we're there.

DH can get so darned cheap about restaurant food...he hates waste, which is admirable, but it's not really practical to carry a to go box around the MK! I hope that if I can pay for the food with the magic card, he'll be able to relax a bit. (I try to get him to look at some of the meuns from allearsnet every so often, to get him used to the very high prices at WDW!)

Wow, thats great. That will be a big help on your trip. LOL, I was happy to have $250.

That's fantastic! Just tell your DH how you're going to Disney and get to eat for free :cool1: . We'd never be able to spend that much on food, but you can also use anywhere in WDW that accepts credit cards.

I just ordered mine as well. I only had $260 put on it in order to pay for MVMCP tickets when they come out (hopefully May 1) :cool1:

We're a family of 5 (DS14 eats more than DH and I do), going to WDW for 10 days, so that should probably be about enough.

Make sure that when you receive your rewards card that you call to activate it. I received mine about a week ago, casually glanced at it and put it away. Well, last night I had some free time to play in my Disney planning folder and got out my card to look at. There is a number that you have to call to activate the card. I wouldn't have been very happy to get to Disney before I discovered this. It normally wouldn't be a big deal, but the primary account holder (my dh) has to be the one to do it and if I had called him from Disney to do it, he would have been clueless.
