Just ordered my daughter's Senior Prom dress, a little sad

What a gorgeous dress!!

You must be a very proud Mommy!

Wow, what a spectacular dress!! And I just *love* the fact that it's a long gown, you don't see that nearly often enough anymore. :lovestruc I can't wait to see the pics of her in the dress; I'll have to make sure to show my DD14 :)

Really pretty, she'll look beautiful.

My oldest is a senior this year and they don't wear the ball type but she wants a long dress this year. She really liked one but we didn't catch it when it was on sale so looking again. Hopefully she'll find something she loves as much.

I am so with you on the bittersweetness of senior year. But I am actually going through it x2 as my younger one is in her last year of middle school. She has a quincenera to go to....that was the tough one...her first formal :guilty: We have one more formal before Senior prom so we have just started looking for that elusive perfect dress.

I am so proud of the young women they've become.

So beautiful! I'm sure she'll look gorgeous! I miss those fun high school events-- proms and such. Like some of the posters said, the style was to wear ballgowns for prom junior year and then more evening-gown styles for senior year. I loved my junior prom dress and wished I wore a ballgown the second year too, regardless of the "style."
Hope Sarah has a wonderful night she can treasure forever!

That is a gorgeous gown. Your daughter will look beautiful in it.

My DD is a senior this year, and I am having some pangs as she is my only child, so empty nest syndrome is fast approaching. She and a group of her friends decided they didn't love prom last year, so they are planning to pool the money they would have spent and goe to the beach for the weekend. I'll miss out on prom shopping.

Beautiful gown! I hope you'll share some pictures from prom night.

Wishing your daughter a night full of laughter and fun and
YOU  Amazing how fast time goes by...................

Beautiful gown.
Treasure the time.... My DD is now 12 and I was welling up reading about this. It makes feel anxious already to think of the day.....
