Just opened the change jar!

Boy those things really add up!! I actually have 3 of them...all filled to the top...and if I didn't open (count and wrap too) it, I'd be searching around for another jar. In just one jar, I have over $63.00. I use the change towards my gas for the trip. I also already have $95.00 in gas cards. Gee...with the price of gas...I might be able to make it to SC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great job! I can't believe the price of gas either. Glad I am flying and I only spent 217.40 each for my tickets (Thanksgiving week)

We started our change jar on January 1 and don't plan to count it out until December 31. We've said that would be Disney money...and even when we weren't working and weren't sure we'd be going to Disney, we still kept the change jar - not that we added much to it. We weren't spending anything so we weren't getting any change.

Ours won't be as much as most people could probably do though because we can't put our quarters in. We need those for laundry.
