I seem to remember the Sweet Temptations often being different from the larger size desserts. Am I wrong? Are they just smaller portions of the other options?
That was my experience, too. Sweet temptations was 3 small versions of 3 of the normal desserts offered.I seem to remember the Sweet Temptations often being different from the larger size desserts. Am I wrong? Are they just smaller portions of the other options?
They did change the Booklet options. Right now people can still get them, but Silver and up now have the option to decline them and just get luggage tags. My guess is they are trying it out and if they find most people are refusing the booklets, they will end up canceling them altogether for the Silver and up club.
When did you do the check in? This apparently just started this month.Where is this option located? I went through the check in process for our August cruise and I did not see this anywhere (one room Platinum, the other room Gold).

I'm not sure. I saw it reported like last week someone had run into it. But, when I called DCL to ask about it (I checked in over a month ago and didn't have it), the CM on the phone didn't know anything about it. He did go ask his supervisor and, yes, there is an option now (somewhere) during the online check in process for returning cruisers to opt out of receiving the booklet. He also said that you have to check either "Yes, I want the booklet" or "No, I don't want the booklet". Any checkin that doesn't indicate either will default to receiving the booklet.I just checked in the Gold room two weeks ago. So maybe it started after May 1.

It was toward the end, one of the last things and definitely after PAT. I chose to get it because it has been 2.5 years since we cruised.Do you recall which section of the check in page had the option? We checked in after you and I can't find it anywhere on mine.
After Port Arrival Time? Hmmm.... this was the most recent set up on the check in that I've seen:It was toward the end, one of the last things and definitely after PAT. I chose to get it because it has been 2.5 years since we cruised.

You can see the last thing (at the top of the page) is the Port Arrival Form (replacing the Signature Form).
Once that is completed, you get this (at least you used to)

Is there another tab at the top of the page now for the online check in process?
Keep in mind at the moment it is purely optional, all guests can opt in for the full books still.
I believe the option for not receiving the booklets is only for returning cruisers. As far as I know first time cruisers will default to receiving the booklet. How? I haven't received any & am looking fwd to them, since it's my parent's first DISNEY cruise !

If you're a returning cruiser and checked in online prior to May 1, the default is to send the booklet.Has anyone found the location? I went back through my online check in & didn't see it. I originally checked in mid April...
But, since you checked in prior to May 1, the default is to get the booklet.Yes, but since they have a Castaway Club member in their cabin , the entire room upgrades .
