We just returned from the Fantasy Easteen Carribbean. I am not one to write a complete trip report, but everyone on this board was so helpful as I was planning, I thought I would post a few thoughts. I'm happy to answer any questions.
- The Concierge team of Amanda, Kemisha, and Tawanda was fantastic. The best we have ever had - on Disney ships and elsewhere. We travel a lot, and they were above and beyond anything we had experienced in concierge service previously. I don't think I could ever sail non-concierge again.
- Check-in, embarkation, and debarkation are so easy with concierge. You are the first ones on the ships, and escorted right off and through all of the lines when you leave. It took less than five minutes for us to collect luggage and go through customs.
- Upon arrival on the ship, the concierge team secured us tickets for the Anna and Elsa Meet and Greet, the Princess meet and greet, Mixology, a wine tasting, and the Castaway Cay 5k. No need to wait in line for any of this.
- Our dining team was fantastic. We has AERAERA rotation which was what we requested with shore side concierge before sailing.
- My husband and I had dinner one evening at Remy. I'm not a huge fan of French food, but the meal and service was fantastic. Just a note, it's not cheap to eat here. With our wine, our bill was over $400 - but well worth it for an anniversary dinner splurge. We will probably try Palo on our next trip.
- We did Mixology and the wine tasting. Both were fun, but I preferred the wine. It was very informative and more my taste in drinks.
- On St. Martin, I took advice from others in this board and booked a tour through Bernard's Tours on our own. They were awesome (and highly recommended on Trip Advisor). They time your stop at Maho Beach to see all the big jets land. It was fantastic - my kids loved it.
- On St. Thomas, we booked the Trunk Bay snorkeling tour through the ship. St. John is beautiful, and this tour was amazing.
- On Castaway Cay we got a cabana. This was our second time reserving the cabana, and always well worth it. The main beach was packed. We loved the privacy, the shade, and the uncrowded beach. I did the 5k. It was fun - but super hot and humid. Several people got sick from the heat.
- My kids (girls age 8 and 5) absolutely loved the Oceaneer Club. They spent quite a bit of time here during the day and after dinner in the evenings.
- The adult areas on the boat, were rarely crowded - as opposed to the main pools which were packed. When my kids would go to the club, my husband and I would escape to the adult areas to relax. Satellite Falls area is a hidden gem. I don't think a lot of people even realize that is there. Never had a problem finding a chair on that deck.
