Yeah, anything that becomes a debate gets insta-poofed under the new policies.

That means there are some trolls who will intentionally search out threads they dont like and cause a debate in them (like that RentaCop or whatever their screen name was). IMHO the mods should just delete the offensive posts and leave the thread, but I dont make the rules

I don't even see how there was a debate, the last time I read the thread it was clean, non-argumentative, just pointed out how one sided and staledated the GayDays review was.

Jeez. Even Disney films have conflict and authoritative questioning. Without it WDW and DL (not to mention the company itself) wouldn't even exist.

There is no problem with differing opinions.

That was not the case with the thread that was deleted- it was started as a diatribe from someone with an axe to grind about something else, not an honest post offering a difference in opinion.

Anyone who has observations/opinions about Gay Days is very welcome and encouraged to share them, whether they agree with Pete's opinions or not! (Just do so respectfully and in compliance with our general guidelines, of course.) We'd welcome someone starting a NEW thread on the topic, if you like.

I'm going to close this thread now.
