So a friend of mine was looking for 2 extra tickets to Saturday night's Red Sox game. (They already had 2, but were hoping for 2 more.) I have a friend with season tickets who is only using 1 of his and he knows someone else with season tickets also only using 1, so I told my friend that I could hook her up with 2 extra tickets if they were interested.
She talked to her SO and they said they wanted them. So I helped introduce my friend to them so they could meet up to get the tickets. This was all set on Tuesday.
She just emails me and tells me that they decided not to get my friends tickets because they found cheaper seats online.
I'm all for saving $$, but this just really puts me in an awkward position with my friend (and he with his friend) when they thought their tickets were sold and now they're not.
Ok, vent over.
