Just need some clarification on making a ressie w/ future points

I'm going to be calling tomorrow to make a ressie for Dec. '07. My use year is October, so I will be using points that I will receive this October. I can still make the ressie, correct? Would I be "borrowing" the points?

I other words, I have no points that I can use to make this ressie. They're all tied up in a May ressie (from banked 2005 points; all my 2006 points are gone). Just want to make sure I can book this tomorrow.

Yes. Everything is a-okay. You will be using 2007 points. No borrowing. Good luck with everything. Wonderful time to go.

And.....

Even if your 2007 were gone you could still make the reservation tomorrow. 2008 points are available for that reservation!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Obviously, borrowing is my forte. Unfortunately. I would prefer more points.

You can make a reservation at your home resort 11 months out regardless of your Use Year. Dec '07 falls in your Oct '07 Use Year (10/1/07 - 9/30/08). So you can use '07 UY points for that reservation, and/or banked '06 UY points and/or borrowed '08 UY points. Since you plan to use '07 UY points, those are "current" year points for that reservation so you would not be borrowing those points for that trip.
