We returned this week from our 8 day trip with DxDP and enjoyed most ..... DH, myself and 5 year old twin girls.

Dinner:
1900 Park Fare - 2stars -
Pros: Unique opportunity to meet stepmother and step sisters. Grand Floridian is amazing
Cons: Food, poor selections and quality. Not fresh appearing on buffet. Kids choices limited and found the buffet very difficult to navigate. Delay - waited 40minutes past ADR for table. Character interaction okay - no antics while we were there.
Kids: did not appreciate the "rude/snobby" characters. Wanted more conversation with Cinderella. Just pictures and she was gone. Ate very little here.
Return - NO

Hoop De Do Review - 8stars
Pros: Entertainment and relaxed atmosphere. Great service and very good food.
Cons: Food was good - not great. Expensive if not DDP
Kids: enjoyed the show and food. Ate well and didn't get bored.
Return: YES

Hollywood Brown Derby - 3stars
Pros: Location, quick service. Dark quiet atmosphere
Cons: Food quality was lacking; steak was tough. Service was rushed for Signature Dining. Not worth 2credits at all on dining plan.
Kids: food choices okay, atmosphere boring for them.
Return: NO

Narcoossees - 10stars
Pros: Everything, view of fireworks, amazing filet and even lobster tail was okay for FL. Service outstanding and prompt. Had sorbet for dessert with fruit and it was wonderful.
Cons: None
Kids: Easily distracted by castle colors and fireworks. Pasta was substituted as side dish for their chicken and they loved it. Good desserts. ADR 7PM - kids did great.
Return: YES

Spirit of Aloha - 5 stars
Pros: Beautiful lights and atmosphere at Poly in Luau theater. Food was very good.
Cons: Very crowded seating - difficult to escape to rest room with kids without crawling around other guests. Photo sales was insulting - not part of photopass - bring you picture but say it will cost you $30. Show was a little slow and even distracting at times. Theater is too crowded to bring audience down for interaction.
Kids: Ate well, loved the bread and chicken. Not entertained by show. Left early after 2nd rest room break as to not keep disturbing other tables near us.
Return: NO

O'Hanas - 6 stars
Pros: food was very well prepared and flavorful. Enjoyed the steak and shrimp. Service was prompt.
Cons: The entertainment was overdone. Just seemed that she was breaking in too often and tried to hard to speak and act in the Polynesian spirit. My kids tried to participate in dance and races but it was too crowded by the time they got to the center.
Kids: Did well, the frequent entertainment - dancing and coconut races distracted them and stressed them out. They wanted to participate but it really was too crowded. Did not eat much at all.
Return: Maybe for food

Liberty Tree Tavern - 6 stars
Pros: very good meal - basic foods. Characters were wonderful. Seemed to want individual interaction with kids and adults! Great place to get away from chaos of MK.
Cons: Service was slow. Basic food choices. Did not like the turkey and it took quite a while to get more beef. We actually didn't have enough to start for all four of us.
Kids: enjoyed the characters and most of the food.
Return: Yes

thanks for all your reviews.......Disney is great with kids isn;'t it......

Thanks for the reviews! I'm glad to hear that Narcoossees was a 10! I'm planning a dinner there for my anniversary!

Thanks for your reviews. We agree with your review of Brown Derby. We went six years ago and our steaks were terrible (we did, however, have bad service on top of it). We didn't think it was worth two credits then and certainly don't think so now with all the other options.

Thanks for the reviews. How did you like the Deluxe plan with the kids? We are going in June with Deluxe dining and I was wondering how the kids will do.
