Just MNSSHP ticket - can you book FP's with that?

With just a MNSSHP ticket for the day - can you book FPs for that? I realize those would need to be between 4-7 pm. Is that possible?

If so - what am I missing? We have 4 day tickets and a party ticket - and it won't let me book FP's for a 5th day.

Yes you can. Is the ticket linked to your MDE account? Once it is linked you should be able to make FP+ choices for the day of the party.

Tickets are linked.... But I did select one FP window that started before 4 (3:34-4:45). Maybe I'll go cancel that one and try again......

Okay - in case anyone else has the same problem.

1) I had booked FP's for our MNSSHP day before booking for a day later (our final park day). (We are off-property this trip - so can only book FPs 30 days in advance)
2) I canceled everything on party day.
3) Booked on next day.
4) Then - when BACK - and re-booked for party day - and it worked....

Bizarre!

I think you've got your answer on how to book. However, you need to be aware that SOME people with your scenario are receiving an email that they have too many days FP booked for the days of tickets. Technically, the MNSSHP ticket is not supposed to let you make FP at all, but we all know they BOOKING system does allow it (with some tweaks for some). If you receive the email, it will tell you, you need to cancel one day's FP or the system will automatically cancel your last day's FP+. The working theory is that Disney is trying to make the 4-7 FP perk for party goers a thing of the past, but they haven't quite figured out how to prevent the booking. They have figured out how to find some of the errant ones and flag them for cancellation.

ok, this is the exact scenario I am having - fast pass day is Sept 15. I called Disney (and surprisingly she was quite unhelpful. First time I've ever experienced this with Disney. While she gave me the answer of "no, you can't because it won't let you book your last day" she said it in a terribly bored voice that made me wonder if she wanted to be at work - anyway)

Anyway, got off subject. She said exactly what is posted here - I would have 7 days of fast passes and only 6 days of tickets, so it wouldn't let me book on my last day. She did say that if there were any fast passes available when we got into the park we could use the kiosk (anynone know if you can use the app day of? I'm guessing not because it doesn't know you're in the park)

My other caveat is that there will be two of us making fast passes - we're two parties booking for both families. So I'm booking 3 of our days, and the other mom is booking the other 3. would that cause us any problems?

I guess I don't have any question - but glad I came and found this. I am not going to mess with fast passes on my party day because we're a party of 9 and I don't want to risk not having anything left for us on the last day!

I know there really is no excuse for bored, bad customer service, but my guess is they have had SOOOO many calls about this issue, that it's become annoying to them too. If Disney would just decide what they want to do and FIX it, we'd all be happier people.

You didn't ask, but I'm going to give my two cents here. We are also two families, and we found for some of the harder to get FP+, splitting up the party into groups of two or three worked better. We just got on the phone with each other on FP+ day and coordinated as we went.

Well, my first question was to confirm what exactly was my fast pass day becase last year I was a day late - I was using date of using tickets and not check in date, and she was bored then too :(

ok - good to know! Thank you!!! So did each of you just book for your own family then and do it a the same time if possible?

Yes, that's the way we split it for most of them. With FOP, we had to break down my family to 2 and 2, but still got it. Once we had them all, I waited a day or two and then went back in and was able to modify all but FOP and 7DMT to the exact same time or within 5 min. My DSiL and I can both manage our plans.
