Just met our own Deb in IA!

I just had the pleasure of meeting Deb and her adorable family for coffee at Downtown Disney while they are out here on vacation at Disneyland. What a delightful person she is, and her husband Eric and kids Jennifer and Mark are charming as well.

Despite a solid day of rain on Saturday they are having a great time, especially now that it's sunny and 70 degrees. She wanted me to say HI to everyone and they will be on their way home tomorrow.

Hi Michelle (and all the rest of you as well)!

First of all, it was great getting together with Michelle -- she'd been our Dreams agent for several trips, and it is wonderful to be able to put a face with a name! Michelle is a truly nice person, and we are really glad she took the time to come and see us!

We had a great time at Disneyland! Everything is relatively compact, so that you don't have to hassle with busses! And we really enjoyed California Adventure, as well as comparing some of the CA vs. FL versions of the attractions (Space Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Splash Mountain, Honey I Shrunk the Audience, Star Tours, Pirates of the Carribean, etc.), as well as riding some things that are not at WDW (Matterhorn, Mr. Toad, Pinocchio's Adventures, Storybook Cruises, Casey Jr. Circus Train, Alice in Wonderland).

The only downsides to the trip was trying to get back yesterday. We were originally scheduled to connect through DENVER; we were able to get on a flight to Chicago and rented a car to get back home very late last night. With the war breaking out, and the stress of having to get home, we are glad to be back!!

Deb.. glad you got home safe and sound! Disneyland is a magical place to me.. I feel like I go to a different planet as soon as we enter the gates.

Now next time you come out west.. C'mon up north.. We can be a lot of fun up here in the home of Garlic, Artichokes and Salad!
