Just me, fiance, and DD cheap options?

If me and fiance wanted to get married on the beach @ the poly would we have to pay the $4750 for the escape package?

I was thinking of just us going with DD, no guests. We've been engaged for 5 years now, but with me going to school, DD having medical issues the past year, we never got to actually plan anything. And I think my family feels I don't really "deserve" a wedding since we live together and have a child together, but I was something special for us.

Is this a possibility?
I really would like to make this "an escape", not tell anyone and come home and say "We're married" LoL!

There is an option now called "memories Collection." For $1991 you have a ceremony with a bouquet and photographer and limo. You would have to hire an officiant and book a 2-night stay at a WDW resort, but that's really the only additional costs. It's available now through all of next year.

When you contact DFTW and they send you materials, they will send you a list of officiants that you can contact. I believe Rev. Day and Rev. Herring are two of the more popular choices.

How much would it cost for an officiant?

I've found them to be in the range of $200 - $250 for just the ceremony (rehearsals generally are an extra fee). HTH!
