Just made our first reservation... concierge!!

Yippee!!

I just made our reservation for our first DVC trip and we are going to be staying conierge AKV 10/11 - 10/15 in a 2 bedroom and a studio. I am so excited! I have no idea what I am going to do for the next 11 months to make the time pass.

I was so worried with the new booking policy that we'd have trouble getting our reservation but it was no problem at all. Next I need to add the Friday and Saturday night at the end of trip with our developer points at SSR when the 7 month window opens.

Thanks to everyone, I am constantly lurking on these boards and so far I've learned a ton and it helps keep the excitement alive

We just booked our 10/1-10/10 trip and conc is booked for all but our first 2 days. We happily took the first 2 days but I'd be over the moon excited if our waitlist would come through for the rest of the days. We're booking a 2bedroom too so it's hard to snag.

You will love it! We stayed last April for just a few nights concierge - loved it so much we are heading there again for an entire week next April!

Yippee! Thanks for everyones well wishes. I was trapped at work all day with people that just don't understand! They just smiled and politely nodded til I walked away with my excitement.

Great pictures! Thanks so much for sharing, this is going to be a LONG 11 month wait! Especially since I am constantly reading these boards and everyone's trip reports.

Congrats!!! We'll be in a 1br 10/3-10/10 so we'll just miss you. I was nervous about getting our dates especially since I forgot and didn't call until the 7th.

Your pictures of Concierge were great. Question for you though - where and how do you normally pay for the food and beverage that were in your pix? Or are those free for concierge guests?

Yes, I had the same concern back in September and we were able to book 5 nights in a 1BR concierge villa for next August! The snail in my ticker is slowly moving toward the goal. We are debating whether to book VB for the last 3 nights - we have until January (7 months) to decide.

Congratulations! Hopefully your 11 months flies by!

How long are you going to wait before contacting the concierge staff re: trip planning stuff? I know it's WAY too early but I just am too excited, I wanna call NOW! I'm sure they won't mind, right?

Free for concierge guests! Access to the floor/lounge is controlled by special room keys. The food offerings change throughout the day. Lots of fun!
