Just made my first ADR. Did I do it right?

I just made an ADR for 8:50am at Chef Mickey's.

On the phone it asked for my resort confirmation number or phone number. I couldn't remember the resort confirmation so I just put in our phone number. Then I preceded to tell her the party size, dates, time we wanted, and she asked I think (I couldn't understand her very well) the child's name in the party or if there was a child in the party and I told her yes and the age. She then gave me my Confirmation Number for the reservation? ETA: Oh yes, she also asked if we were on the dining plan which I said yes.

Is that it? Do we just show up and provide Conf. Number? I'm really new at this LOL.

Yep, that's all you do! Have fun at Chef Mickey's; it's a blast!! Make sure you have your conf. # for the gate at the Contemporary if you'll be parking there.

Oh, and that's my next question! We're staying at POP and should be able to catch the first MK bus at 8:00am (MK opens at 9:00) - can we then catch the monorail to Contemporary? The monorail should be running then, right? Or, would we do better to catch the bus to DTD, and then catch the Contemporary bus?

You can walk to the Contemporary from MK- there is a footpath that will take you directly there (if you are facing MK it will be on your right side). This should be much faster than trying to get the monorail.
