Just made final payment on first Disney Vacation.. A couple questions

Yesterday I made final payment on our Disney trip Sept 15-22.. I booked directly with Disney, what should I expect to receive in the mail?

I am taking my 16, 6 and 5 year old and the younger ones were just told they are going.. What do you do to help them count down the days to the trip?

The 16 year old is a boy, any suggestions for him having a good time while we are there. I took him many times when he was younger and he is reluctantly going this time due to my husband at the last miute before final payment could not get off work.

If I'm remembering correctly (which is sad because I've been thru this many times in recent years!), you will get another copy of your reservations. You will also get your luggage tags and a copy of random other things from Disney...we've gotten park maps, a special piece of paper that you can write all your ADRs onto, a list of attractations they believe your family will enjoy, etc. You will also get your yellow tags for Magical Express, if you are taking ME.

For counting down we've done the chain where our son removed a link each morning and marking off the days on the calendar. I read one poster who did reveal a picture, cards that were turned over and each day he flipped it to reveal a picture of a Disney character.
