So as most of you may know I have never used a TA before. So with the advice of the boards I decided to contact dreams unlimited. So after a quick google search I made the phone call and recieved a email from a rep. After speaking with her i mentioned OBC seen on website ect. She never mentioned that I must of had the wrong place. So I just sent her a email ready to book with the cabin # I wanted.
After I hit send I seen her email WASNT @dreamsunlimited blah blah. It was unlimited dreams llc. So I quickly did a google search AGAIN and low and behold I had the WRONG AGENCY.
so I quickly Emailed her back told her I made a mistake and that wasnt the room # I wanted so I quickly went onto the proper website and had to go through request a quote tab then sent a message via fb so I hope to get a call today to book. Im really trying not to call Disney directly and book being I am nervous I should to guarantee I get the cabin number I want (and researched all night)

I'm sure you'll have no problem changing agencies. FWIW, I had no problems picking my exact room when I called DCL. They were very easy to work with.

The fastest way to get a quote from Dreams Unlimited Travel is to put in a request on their website.

Weve DU for our last several cruises, and will keep using them in the future. Have used them for our WDW stays also. Never had an issue with them. The quickest way to get a quote from them, is to use this site:

If DCL is offering any type of OBC, ask that it be combined if possible with DUs. Depending on how the agent books it, may make the difference between the extra obc.

Yes. We paid most of our trip w/ Disney Gift Cards.

Yes, you can use gift cards. They do ask that you go to disneygiftcard.com and combine them into one single gift card before you submit payment to them. This is what is written on the page where you submit payments:

If you would like to use two or more gift cards each one needs to be entered as a separate transaction. We ask that you take a few minutes and consolidate multiple gift cards into one by visiting disneygiftcard.com and click on the Manage Cards option. We appreciate you taking the time to do this as it will speed the payment process and allow us to apply your gift card payments to your reservation faster and easier.

I wouldn't worry! I think you'll be very happy that you've chosen DU as your TA. I have used them to book my last two cruises and I'm so happy with my decision, my agent Kerry is so nice and helpful. The OBC and gift basket are definitely big pluses.

I also use DU and am happy with my TA. Keep in mind if you have a Disney visa and pay in full with your Disney visa you can also get a beverage credit of $50 as long as it's not a restricted fare. My back 2 back earlier this year I got the DU OBC and the visa OBC on both cruises.

I don't know if they changed their policy, because I now use my Disney Vacation Account to pay for my cruises, but when I did pay for my cruise with Disney gifts cards entered at the Dreams Unlimited site, ther did have a limit on how many cards you could enter in a single day. I can't remember if it was the number of cards, or the dollar amount.

If you need to cancel the cruise, your refund will be issued to the gift cards that you used. Make sure you hold on to those!

I just went to pay my deposit half on a disney gift card. Is there some magical way to do it? They were able to process my visa but not disney gc saying that invalid. I put the card number and then the security code as the cvc code since it doesnt have a line to enter the security number. Am I missing something?

Is this through DU? If you have a quote, then you have a contact. I highly recommend that you contact that person. I wouldn't do any further actions or changes without talking to someone at DU.

Make sure you are changing the payment drop down box to gift card. Leave the security code and expiration date blank. Fill in the dollar amount you want to charge to the gift card. They don't need the security code frm the gift card to process it.

Thats exactly what I was doing wrong. Everything is good now and deposit is fully paid for cant wait to receive our info so I can log into Disneys site and check it out

Not as of right now. The gift baskets are only sent for cruises out of Port Canaveral.

DU is sending baskets to anyone living in the US (and Canada?). Our cruise this August was out of Vancouver, the basket was sent to our home in Massachusetts a few weeks before we left.

That is good to know. I thought I read on here it was for cruises out of Port Canaveral only.
