After watching this new parade for the first time we had another highlight on our schedule: Tarzan. I just love this show. The music, the dance action, just everything is perfect. We had very good seats but it is very hard to take good pictures of the show. But I tried my best.
When the show was done it was time to head to Mainstreet to get in line for the wrist band for the EMH. This was the only day of our trip with evening EMH. They are much better than the morning EMH as almost the whole park remains open, and not only a few attractions in Fantasyland and Discoveryland. But for families with children the morning EMH must be a dream. They can do the major rides with almost no waiting time.
But before we could make use of the EMH we had a reservation for Walt’s. Walt’s is a must do during every trip and it never was a letdown. But I am very sad that they removed Cinderella’s Slipper from the menu. The one at Walt’s tasted much better than the one at the Auberge.
Walt’s Menu

After Walt’s Gourmet Burger we have done BTM and PM with our wrist band for the EMH. Compared with the morning EMH the park was still very crowded. But only guests with wrist bands were allowed to go on rides.

Although this day was my birthday we did nothing special. We were early in the park and we did the usual things: Saloon Mickey, Tarzan, new Parade and Candleabration.
We have seen Candleabration every evening. I loved this show but during daylight it is nothings special. And when Mickey says: “Watch the castle because this is one of the most magical moments ever!” and then nothing happens because you can’t see the candles light up and you can’t see Tinkerbells glitter this is a little irritating. But if it is dark outside this show must really be the most magical show ever. And I liked the repeat of “Just like we dreamed it” from the Once upon a Dream – Parade during Candlebration.
I loved the whole 15th decoration and the decoration of the castle. I would not mind if these decorations would stay forever.

We had birthday dinner at the Sequoia Lodge at the Beaver Creek Tavern. This is a good value restaurant. You can have starters and dessert from the buffet and you choose a main dish from the menu.

Friday was also a usual Disney day for us. We had a lot of fun but I also discovered some things that bothered me.
For example the streamers that were fired from the Lumiere figures and from the parade floats.

The kids were crazy about these streamers. After they were fired they ran on the lawn and right into the flower beds just to grab them. And what did the parents do? Stop them? No they followed them right into the flower beds and lifted their children up so that they could even collect the ones from the trees.
The lawn in the whole resort looked horrible.
Look at this picture can you believe this?

But I have to admit that the trees looked kind of beautiful with all that streamers on them.

During Friday afternoon we decided to relax at the pool. And after staying at all Disney hotels I have to say the HNY has the most beautiful and most stylish one.
We had the pool just for ourselves.

We ended the day with dinner at the Park Side Diner. This is now also a buffet restaurant (like so many restaurants at the hotels and in the parks) but therefore you have a good value.
Before we went to bed we had a drink at the Hotel New York Bar. This bar was just refurbished two days ago so everything looked as good as new.
Part 3 will follow soon. More pictures can be found in my album. More pics will be added soon.
