What does this mean when someone does a thread puts the word Bump in the box and that's all that's there.

When other threads are responded to, it moves a thread down the page of threads and eventually off the first page.

By putting the word "bump" and responding to a thread, it puts the thread back up at the top of the first page.

It's nothing more than a device to enhance viewship and response.
