Hi fellow Disney geeks!! Just joined the boards today after listening to the podcast for a few years. Planning our 5th trip to WDW but our first As DVC members. We will be there early December at the treehouses at Saratoga springs. We are a family of 5, with three Mousekateers ages 8, 5, and 4. Never stayed there before or been there that time of year. Any tips as we start making trip plans from Pennsylvania??

Welcome! My wife and I are from Harrisburg. We joined DVC about three years ago and love it. SSR is our home resort and it has been great for the kids and terrific to bring some other members of the family as well.

As for tips, before school started we really appreciated visiting in the "shoulder" times like May and October. It was a nice change of weather from home and the parks weren't too crowded. Didn't hurt that it coincided with Food & Wine and Flower & Garden.
