if my ds (adult) cant go can i change person or will they cancel the whole trip i am at the 42 day mark and i did buy insurance but it wont be a medical reason??

Your biggest issue at this point is she the first person listed o nthe reservation? IF the reservations lists her as primary they may cancel the cabin. If she is an additional person in the cabin it may not be seen as a cancellation but a substitution.

I am not trying to be coy by saying "may" but I can't give you an absolute as DCL does change their rules from time to time.

You best best is to call them (or your TA if you used one) and ask them.

Good luck.

In thepast DCL has not cancelled the reservation and has allowed substitutions for that situation.

So if you have someone else to go it would not be a problem. Otherwise you are in the penalty phase for cancelling someone. You can do it,but they may charge a $100 cancel fee depending on how close you are to sailing.

I was also told that if I changed a name within 30 days of sailing that I would be charge $35.

Hope this helps...See if you can just replace him with someone else and then you won't lose any money at all.

Good luck! :goodvibes
