Just how bad are the crowds right now????

We are going to WDW last minute for the weekend. MK on Sat. and AK on Sun. I know that it's peak season and all, but the crowds now aren't like the April crowds right? We have never been at this time before, last year we went for the day in the beginning of March, but never this late in the month...so? What should we expect? We will get there for opening and use FP, and won't stay all day. We did want to go back to MK at night, will the lines be too long for everything? It should let up later in the evening like around the 9 spectro, right? I hope....

Anyway, thanks in advance. I'd like to know what we are getting into.

We were at the "World" last week, and in my opinion, it was very crowded. However the bus driver said..."if you think it's crowded now...you don't know crowded!" Wait times were about 40 minutes during the week in the afternoons and even longer on Saturday. The street traffic was hefty as well as the busses. I never got to sit down on our return trips back to the hotel. A few of the CM's I talked to said it would be increasingly busy until after Easter because of the different Spring Break times. Hope this helps!

We just got back Monday night and Monday at both AK and MK were the most crowded I have ever seen! Wall to wall people, huge lines for everything. I read later that MK reached its capacity of 55,000 Monday as well as later in the week.

It is very crowded when we were at breakfast on sunday the server said there was talk of closing the parking lot that day at 11:30 not sure if they did.... saturday evening was a mad house at MK hour lines for mst things no fast passes and Space mountain kept breaking... just be prepared for large crowds. We went to MGM on saturday hoping to avoid teh crowds since it was so crowded but MGM was even packed....Plus there were cheerleaders all over the place intown for something....taping at MGM and sports complex...

I've been down since last Saturday and will be going home this Saturday. I've been all times of the year and I have to say it's very crowded. Lots of spring breakers and families.

MK was open til 3am on Monday and the buses where packed. Even the Epcot bus was wall to wall people when the bus drive said that you could use the monorail to get to MK from Epcot.

Epcot has been ok, but the rest have large crowds. Make dinner arragements if you don't want to eat counter service, you won't walk in any of the sit down places.

Besides that the weather is fantastic and I haven't seen any rain!
