We just upgraded to AKL for our family trip!!! I am so excited I could scream! Except I can't, because we're surprising the kids. They know we're going for Christmas, but they think we're staying at All-Star Movies (or is it Music?). We were just able to upgrade and got 2 rooms at Jambo House Club Level!! I can't believe I still have 181 days until we're there! They are going to die when we drive right by the All-Stars and continue on to the Animal Kingdom Lodge!!!

Congrats! That is incredible news! If you don't mind my asking, how did you get the upgrade? Did Disney approach you, or did you find a deal somewhere? We're going in 100 days, and are staying at Pop Century, but would love to upgrade. Who wouldn't? Anyway, congratulations and enjoy your trip!

Oh, we upgraded ourselves. DH got a little bonus and when we called, they had AKL available! I should also note that we upgraded from OKW, not All-Stars. (The kids think we're staying at All-Stars because when we first decided to go, that's where we were going to stay.) I got a pin back in Jan for 40% off of deluxe and I was able to transfer it to this! The kids never knew (and still don't) about the pin code, so they still think we'll be at the "Disney Motel 6", which is what they call the All-Stars. Greatness!
