For some reason my DW enjoys Nancy Grace. Personally I think she just likes to hear me come up new complaints about her and how much her voice makes me want to stuff my ears with the batteries from the remote, or anything else within an arms reach.

Jane Velez Mitchell is a little calmer than Nancy, but did you see her running after Jose Baez after closing arguments? It was hilarious. I actually kind of like her, but she has Judge Larry Seidlen and Janie Weintraub and I can't stand the way either of them talk. Nails on a chalkboard!

Nancy is guilty of over the top, bottom of the barrel hyperbole. I really hate to make this accusation, but it's hard not to think that she exploits tragedy for the sake of ratings.

And during this whole Casey Anthony story, it got really annoying to hear her not be able to mention CA's name without also calling her Tot Mom.

Anyone have a clue just what she means by that nickname? She says it with such disdain, but I really can't figure out what it means.

I know that Nancy made no secret about her feelings against CA, and that's fine. Most of us feel the same way, and she is by no means an objective, non biased journalist. But to use phrases like "The Devil is dancing tonight" is just a bit too much for me.

How funny you should ask about "Tot mom" I always wondered about it too and last night Nancy Grace was on some show and she said she has a habit from her days in law school, she always thinks up names small enough to fit on a manila folder tab and that "Tot mom" was the name she came up with when the Caylee Anthony case started and it just stuck. So it doesn't really mean anything, but now you know.

The only time I've seen her is on a cruise ship when CNN is about all I can pick up and I have it on while waiting for my wife to get ready!
