Just had to share re: MaryLiz's DD

Hi everyone!
I'm so excited and no one to call. I just received a message from my niece (maryliz's dd). Apparently she got into the hot seat on WWTBAM and received the 32,000 point polo shirt!! I'm so disappointed that I didn't get to talk to her. They're doing late night at MK tonight, so I can't even call her room. Just thought I would share with people who understand our craziness! (I'm not sure whether she was able to have a parent with her or not - had heard something about this recently.)

Well, now that I've stopped bouncing.....she's REALLY excited----I just won the cap. Mary Liz got to go up with her, but Laura made the choices by herself. She chose against Mary Liz's on a couple (and won!). Got stuck on 250 000. WOW!

Her fastest finger was something on dogs and she "just pushed buttons". Her first question: Which character has fur? Sir Hiss, Tramp, Mr. Toad??? and one other. Tramp is one of her favourites (ask NancyK) What a girl!!! She took up the whole show. I'm surprised that they didn't go back! I always do!

We were down there last week and when the kid who was in the hot seat (answered the fastest finger question in 0.4 second) missed a question (he went with the audience and the audience was wrong!) I was in second place by less than 1000 points. That may be the closest I ever come to the hot seat!

I feel your pain. When we were down in Sept we went and on the first 'fastest finger' I was 2nd - by something like 1/300th of a second or something!!!!! I was bummed the rest of the game!

Hi everyone! Just back last night! We were at MGM for that morning only as we wanted to get back to Stormalong Bay, and it was a choice between WWTBAM or Indiana Jones show. Guess we made the right choice!

She went down and got in the Hot Seat and when they found out how old she is, they announced that she could bring a parent down to help. "Who is smarter, Mom or Dad?" the host asked! We had joked earlier in the trip when we went to the show that if either of them got into the hot seat, they should take their Mom since it would mean more to me than to my DH!

They did not have special kids questions, which is why I got to be there and give her the answers if I wanted to. But only SHE could give the answer including the phrase "final answer" in the allotted time. She guessed on a couple and got them right.

I got the smallest shirt possible which is still an adult size, but I figure she can sleep in it! It does fit me though, so I just might have to "borrow" it

I showed her this thread and she was very pleased, and says "thanks" for all of the congrats you've sent her!

When DD & I did it for the first (2 weeks ago), after the first 10 questions, I was in 3rd place. (so close..) but the coolest part for me was that I got all the question right (just not quick enough) but DD (10) looks at me wide-eyed, and in awe and amazement and said "It's true Mom, you REALLY do know everthing!" that was better than being in the hot seat any day...well, maybe
