Hi everyone! We went to DW all of last week, and I just had to share the funniest thing. Me, DH, and DD2 rode Peter Pan. Right when we exited the ride vehicle, DH carried DD. She started crying because she wanted me to carry her instead. A Disney employee at PP said "Is she OK?" And I said "Yes, thank you." He said "did she not want to get off the ride?" And I said "no". I wasn't even thinking when I answered b/c she was crying so hard, and we were trying to get out of the way of others exiting the ride. Well, immediately he motioned for us to get back on the ride. And I said, "are you serious?" He said yes, that he didn't want any child upset at Disney. So I thanked him profusely, and we got to ride twice in a row. I thought that was so sweet. :yay: I joked with DH that maybe we should have her cry at every ride. (which of course we would never do).

That is awesome!! you have to love it when you get that extra bit of pixie dust!! :)

That would have been dangerous when my DD was younger. She loved IASW and she insisted on riding it again one trip and so we got back in line, the CM recognized her and put us in the front row. When it came to the exit she told the CM again and they let the people off the boat and set us a sail along. We rode in our own boat for 7 times through without stopping. Finally I had to say no more. My DD was in heaven.

Wow and you are still sane ?:lmao:
Thats one thing that sets disney apart from the rest of the world, I have never met a rude cm. :cloud9:

Then never try to arive 5 minutes earlier for Fast Pass at the Safari in AK! I wont go into it too much here but she wouldn't even let us stand by the entrance and wait for 5 minutes! But she was the only rude one I've ever met there.

Great story BTW!! It's always nice to see CM's doing small things like that for people. It doesn't cost WDW anything but makes the day a little extra special.

Thanks for the great story. It is so nice to hear a positive story it seems sometimes like all people are doing these days is dwellling on the negative.

That is great. I found out last trip that if you reboard the carousel right away you can ride it 6 times in 20 minutes.:rotfl:

Sorry a CM was rude to you!!! I will say that arriving early for a FastPass time is the ONLY time I've seen CMS being consistently firm with a rule. They ALWAYS make people move aside to let the current FP holders board more easily. It must be frustrating to be pushed to one side when you are so close, but I have had other situations where the CM had to literally herd a large group out of the way so we could get into the line with our current FP, so I guess it's the lesser of two evils. The answer, of course, is not to go near the FP entrance until you know your time is current.

How was Peter Pan? That was the only ride that we opted not to wait forever in line for....

I fully understand this. The problem is that my watch was out of sinc with their time. We didn't intend on trying to get on early but when we realized what time it was we just stood by the entrance, no way in front of it our blocking it, she told us very rudely that we had to move along and could not wait anywhere near it. A simple, could you please move further down the path would have been sufficient. Even so she didn't ruin our trip. We had a wonderful time on the Safari and all the other kind and helpful CM's definitely made up for her.

That's great. The same sort of thing happened to us last year when we exited Test Track. As we got out of the car, my DS6 was jumping up and down and yelling "that was awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!" :yay: The CM took us around and put us right back on the ride. Now, that was awsome!

We rode the tta 8 times in a row once!! There was 9 of us, and the kids were having a ball, they loved it. We finally said okay, enough, lets do something else. We also rode snow white about 15 times in a row (but they make you get off, walk around the gate, and get back on, because of the way the ride is). We kept riding in the same car even, and the girl running the ride recognized us the next night, and waved, and let us do it about another 15 times in a row!!
I do have a funny story about peter pan, my daughter LOVES peter, and I mean LOVES him, so this was of course her favorite. We rode the ride, go to get off, and she would not let go of the bar to get out of the ride, so here I am on the moving pathway, trying to pry her little fingers from off the bar to get her off. It was almost comical, we had a talk about how dangerous that was, and she never did it again, but man, I was not sure if I was going to get her off in time!!!

Thanks for the great story. It is so nice to hear a positive story it seems sometimes like all people are doing these days is dwellling on the negative.

Accentuate the positive! Eliminate the negitive! Don't mess with Mr. Barry Bonds! :rotfl2:
