After having ate at many counter service restaurants in the Magic Kingdom, we were just curious to know , what were you're favorites and why??? Thanks, Chip@Janet.

Not a huge fan of the counter service restaurants at MK, but when I do eat at one, it's usually Pecos Bill's in Frontierland. I think the burgers are pretty much the same from one place to another (meaning, Pecos Bill burger seems to be the same as the one from Cosmic Ray's) - the difference for me is the topping bar. Pecos Bill seems to have a bigger topping bar. If in the mood for a hot dog, I always go to Casey's on Main Street.

I love CHH. I really like the food there - the vegetarian chili and lighthouse sandwich are my favorites. Plus its a nice, cool place to relax and have a meal.

Peco's Bill in Frontierland is our favorite. We always take time to have a burger there on each trip. There topping bar that includes grilled mushrooms & onions is great.

We love Cosmic Rays. Best marinated chicken sandwich in WDW. Then we add the sauteed mushrooms and grilled onions!! :flower1:

Also not a big fan of the counter service in MK, but our favorites are Pecos Bill and Casey's on Main Street. I think the burgers at Pecos Bill's are very good and I really love the topping bar. You just can't miss with a hot dog at Casey's too- it's just classic!

We LOOOOOVE Pecos Bill's for their awesome hamburgers and "fixins bar". We love Cosmic Ray Cafe for the out of this world Stack Sandwiches. Yummmmy....I need to go to WDW asap!!!

My favorite is Pinocchios Village Haus (sp). However, it is more for the atmosphere than the food (nothing to write home about). But with It's a Small World closed for refurbishment that takes that away.

I always try to stop and get tacos from El Pirata y el Perico. I love them.. I am a big fan of any kind of Mexican food (except Taco Bell) so this is a MUST FOR ME!!

El Pirata, when we can find it open, is a favorite. Always had to have the Stack Sandwich at Cosmic Ray's, but it was no longer on the menu in November! Will have to try that marinated chicken next time.

We like the relevant solitude of the Columbia Harbor House. The upstairs section is usually not very crowded, and the culinary selections are a little different.

Try the Garden Galley Salad. It's big enough for 2 people to share, and it doesn't weigh you down like the fare at Pecos Bill's, Pinnochio's, and Casey's sometimes tend to do.

Here's another vote for Cosmic Ray's. There are so many choices that we can find something for everyone here. Plus we love to eat and watch Sonny Eclipse's lounge show!

My favorite counter service at MK is Columbia Harbor House. I LOVE their fish and chips, and the atmosphere is pretty nice. I used to enjoy the clam chowder in a bread bowl, but they've taken the bread bowl away. :(

My vote is for Pecos Bills. The chicken wrap is YUMMY!!!

My DH and I ate at the Columbia Harbor House when we took the Keys to the Kingdom Tour. It was yummy! We also had the fish and chips. The upstairs area is VERY nice. We never noticed that it was there! We will be bringing our four DD's there this May!!

great soup and sandwiches in a quiet venue plus close to my favourite ride The Haunted Mansion

I love the dogs picture as 3 generations of my family are Ga. fans. I just had to insert that. Favorite quick spot is Columbia House although we haven't been since bread bowls were discontinued.

We didn't eat at ANY counter service places in the parks, only the food court at the resort on our last trip.....10 days at that!

I was kinda bummed, there were a few I wanted to try, it just never worked out.

Steph

We generally hit Cosmic Ray's (like their chicken caesar salad, and the stack sandwich). CHH is nice, because it's quiet. I don't remember what we ate there, though.

At Epcot, we love Tangierine Cafe (Morocco).
