Just got the DVD Planning

And it is so cool. It has so many options, including looking at floor plans (love the Deluxe Suite at the Contemporary). If you can't get it from Disney, and you are as nuts about Disney as I am, beg, borrow or steal a copy (just not mine).

Of course you have the option of starting at a particular spot, but you also have individual commentaries (about 30 seconds or so) for each of the resorts, an interactive map, and "trailers" for some of the rides (Pirates, Tower of Terror, Dinosaur). It is so cool.

MJames41 - how did you get this DVD? Is it for sale or is it promotional material (like the free videos)? I bought the WDW Explorer CD about 5 years ago. That had some nice information, but didn't go into a lot of detail. I'm sure with the computers and programs available now, they could really pack in a lot more content!

I ordered it from Disney. When I was there a few weeks ago, you had the option of the video or the DVD. It's free, and it is so cool (I know, repeating myself - old age).
