Just received the Blue membership cards in an envelope that said "Welcome Home" We recently closed on a resale. We do not receive any points until this Oct. I went to the website just to check it out and it said to sign up etc etc. It asked me for club id# All I have is membership card with number on it. Did I jump the gun and should be waiting for more paperwork before going on the website? Do I need to call? What am I missing or what dont I know? Thank You

congrats on your purchase! a little off topic, but we purchased DVC back in November direct thru Disney, and only received one membership card, even though both my husband and I are listed on the contracts. Is this the norm?

DVC convert. I know what the membership number is but it asks me for club id and that is alot shorter number. Yankee-we recevied 2 membership cards. One with my name and one with my wifes name

No. DH and I bought a resale contract this past spring and received 2 member cards. I would call your guide and ask for another one.

If you call they will give it to you. And your October point are in you account now. You do not need to wait till October to make reservations (FYI)

Call MS, they will give you the codes that you need to access the member website.

OP just out of curiosity how long did it take you to get your blue member cards? We have our cards from our original contracts bc we bought direct, but recently closed on an add-on with a different UY (about 6-7 weeks ago), have already used the points to extend our fall trip, but haven't gotten our new member cards with the new number (just have it in my e-mail/records & access to website). Wondering if I should call MS to ask where they went ... don't really need them but its nice to have. =)

thanks guys, going to call about getting a card for my husband.

We closed directly with Disney last October and never did receive our blue Membership Cards. I called MS in mid January to request them - but over 6 weeks later we still had not received them. So just last week I spoke with Member Administration (rather than MS) and without hesitation she offered to "expedite" them. She stated that a "normal" request for a Membership Card (without expediting) can take up to 2 months.

If you go to Disney, just stop at the sales center at Saratoga Spring.

They will print you one in 5 minutes.
