just got permanent card & deed

After having a bad day that didn't appear to be getting better, I went to the mail box.
got our permanent member card as well as our deed info etc. last Friday. I tried to get right on the computer to share the happy info with those who tryly understand, but back to my day............computer had problems. Oh well, as they say this to will pass.

We just got our new cards and recorded deed in the last week or so too!

MY DH asked if this card would work because his other didn't. I was confused thinking he was referring to his temp card. No.......he always keeps his KTTW card in his wallet after every trip. He gets very disappointed, because it's magic goes away and it doesn't get him anywhere once he's home

Yes, sweetie, this card will get us wonderful vacations and many working KTTW cards for years to come!!

Congrats! It's it funny out getting something from the DVC can just turn you day around?! Yesterday I was not having a stellar day but I reached in that mailbox and pulled out two DVC letters and it immediately put a big smile on my face! I have a while until I get my cards...I'm still waiting on my backpack. Oh well, just something else to look forward to! Hope you have a magical day today!!

just a quick question - How long should it take to get the permanent cards? We bought in May and still only have the paper ones.

I also was wondering, did you get your Cards and your Deed on the same day? In the same package? I received my Deed in the mail on Friday but no cards. My paper cards expired on July 21st. Just curious if the Deed and the Cards are sent separately?

We too just received our cards and deed last week. We are in the process of planning a vacation with my brother - one of which is also a DVC member. We bought last March and got our cards in August. Hope this gives you some idea when you will get yours.

I happened to get my cards and deed on the same day, but in different envelopes.
I had called a week or so prior, as my temp. cards ran out 7/31.

I guess I'll have to call because even though we haven't received our deed yet, our cards expire on 9/3 and we are going to the World on 9/20.

CONGRATS! It is very exciting to receive the permanant membership cards! I was so psyched the first time I used mine at the Disney Store for the discount, too.

FYI - Our cards and deed camea few days apart. Also, our cards were very near expiration (may have even expired by a couple days) before we got our permanent cards.

Congrats, and welcome to the DVC family!!! I molested my card so much when it first came in that the numbers nearly lost all their shiny from it!!!

(and yes, I do still have all my original welcome packet stuff, but we got a tote-bag instead of a backpack.)
