Just got new packet- with our VB Points!

We were trying to buy into DVC and decided to get VB points from Disney due to the MB and the fact that our credit needed us to come up with more down. The MB on VB was $15 per point which made up for most of the extra down payment we had to have. Julie told us last week that they only had 104 VB points and that she'd watch each day for us and let us know when they became available. Well, I got a packet dropped off frm FedEx jsut now- and gues what? It was the new papers for our VB points! I am so excited!! Now, I'll just get DH to sign and get the mortgage notarized and we're in. Plus, they also sent a new lithograph of VB even though they previously sent the SSR one. They even sent temporary Membership cards! Now I just have to wait until 2005 rolls around to go on our big trip!

Congratulations! I remember how excited and then disappointed you were as you went through the process of buying in at SSR. Hope things work out for you!

Mom2rb - I think that there were 104 points available, they waited for 46 more points to show up in their UY, and they just received the contract for 150 points.

HookedOn is correct. There were 104 points and we just had to wait for the other 46. I guess I got someone's ROFR. Sorry to whomever was trying to buy them!! We'll probably pay the majority of it off within the next year and a half, then use our tax refund next year to start the add-on dance with SSR. Thanks for everyone's help!!
