I just got the 2nd edition cruiseline passporter! It is great with a lot of great pictures of all the different types of staterooms and verandahs. I highly recommend this book especially since it is the only one out there that has all this great Disney Cruise line info. I wish there was a book like this for every cruise line.

I am so upset!! I tried to get mine from the bookstore & they keep telling me it wasnt released yet!!! I KNOW IT HAS BEEN, I've been watching people say they got them all week here! Well, I hope you're enjoying it & I can't wait for mine!:D

:flower1: Mine is supposed to come tomorrow. I check the UPS tracking coed that passporter sent me and that is what it said. I can’t wait.:rockband:

This quote is from Jennifer & Dave (the Passporter people)
Bookstores take a while to get them in stock, as they have to go through a couple of intermediaries first. The earliest we'd expect them to show up in bookstores is mid-May

I ordered mine through the Mousesavers.com link to Expedia and have not received anything yet either.:(

I ordered through the mousesavers link for delivery to the uk and it won't be coming until JUNE - how will i cope

I too am very upset about not getting my passporter yet. I pre ordered it over a month ago, knowing it was a "pre-order" and wouldn't be shipped out until April 19th. What upset me first was, I ordered not only the new DCl passporter but also the 2004 WDW passporter...thinking I would at least get that one in a week and be able to go through it before the DCL 2ed was sent. Well after over a week of waiting for the WDW book to arrive and not getting it. I contacted them to find out they weren't going to ship it untill the DCL passporter was sent. Needless to say I wasn't to happy about that. They did however give me the option of paying even more shipping to have it sent then, but by that time the DCL edition was to be released in a little over a week. So I didn't opt to pay additional shipping to have the WDW edition sent then. Now it's the 29th and I still haven't recieved either one.

Secondly I was upset because I did finally get my e-mail notice of shipment, which stated it was shipped on the 22nd and should arrive w/in 3-5 days...well thats done and gone and still no passporters. Then when I tryed to track the shippment...UPS states it was not even shipped until the 27th and won't be here until MAY 3 :( ...I am so disapointed and upset about the whole thing.

I just keep telling myself that it's worth the wait.
:D

I know me too, i keep hearing how useful it is and can't wait to get my hands on it, maybe i'll be able to stay off the disboards for a few days :)

Can't belive it takes so long to get from amazon to the uk

My confirmation letter said it was shipped on the 22nd and to expect delivery in 3-5 days too. When I would try to track it, it wouldn't give me a delivery date (can't remember exactly what it said, but it was something weird). I just checked it a few minutes ago, and it doesn't say when it was sent, but it does say that I should expect deliver today!!! I hope it's right!

::MickeyMo I ordered mine online through Barnes&Noble and paid the extra $8 for 2-day delivery::MinnieMo

I know Jennifer said that there was a problem with the amount of time it was taking to put together the deluxe editions. They were supposed to ship on 4/22, but really didn't go out until 4/27 and 4/28. That is the reason for the date discrepencies. My email said the same thing, but when I checked the UPS website, it said scheduled delivery will be 4/30 (tomorrow). That is ok with me as long as I get it. Waiting another day or two won't kill me. Just realize that sometimes things happen in all companies to delay shipments.

Is this for the 2004 edition? I thought stores didn't have them until mid May, Did you order the 2003 edition?

I realize the delays in shipping were not in their control reguarding my deluxe edition of the DCL passporter (from the Passporter company)....that's to be expected with such a hot item. I can't imagine the volume of orders they had for it...I am mainly upset because I also ordered the WDW passporter at the same time, knowing the DCL one was a pre-ordered item and wouldn't be shipped until the 19th. I just assumed they would ship the item that was current then ship the pre-ordered item when it was available. Thats how most companies do it when you pre order and item or order an item that is temporarly out of stock along with currently stocked items. I'm just glad I didn't pre-order months and months ago and have to wait for both items. Now they are just a few more days away...I was hoping to get it before today..we have to take our little one over to Children's Hospital for the rest of the week and wanted some good matieral to keep my mind off things there....and the fact that I will be going through Dis Board withdrawls by noon today. Maybe the Ronald McDonald house has internet acess?!!?

The Passporter that everyone is talking about is the new edition of the Passporter Guide to the Disney Cruise Line. It is a very helpful reference that covers what rooms look like, "secret" porthole rooms, info on shows, excursions, etc. It, along with these boards, can answer all your questions.

I got mine today and I still have 19 term papers to grade...choices, choices!:earseek:
Check out the "lost and found" tip on p. 140, it's from ME!!!!:D

I too am waiting (impatiently) for my deluxe passporter to come in the mail. I received and email the other day that it was mailed on the 22nd and could be expected in 4 to 14 days! I picked USPS mail as it was much cheaper! To top that off, i've been waiting(impatiently again) for my income tax check to come in the mail so i can renew my AP's that expire next month!:earseek: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

:flower1: Got mine today! Have not had a chance to look at it. Plan on doing it later.
