Just got my MRI results.

Crummy news but not a big surprise. I've had a long history of disintegrating disks in my back. It's happened again. The opening where the sciatic nerve runs down my right leg is nearly closed.
Bone touching nerve=PAIN!

The somewhat good news is that I'm finally getting short periods of relief. Sometimes less than an hour but yesterday I had nearly 2 hours where I was almost pain free.

If this episode is like many of the others I've had, the discomfort will gradually get less and less over a period of several weeks and then one day I'll wake up and it will be gone. Let me tell you, that will be one happy day!

omg that sounds just awful! I know what chronic pain is like and it's not a whole lot of fun. I hope you get relief very soon and in the meantime take pain meds if you have them!
