Just got majorly pixie dusted!

I *just* got home to this email from my TA!

I wanted to let you know that Disney called me today about your reservation and I have good news and bad news.



The bad news is that apparently they had a computer glitch that allowed Coronado to be overbooked for that time period.



The good news is that as a result, they have moved you to the Yacht Club at the same price ;o)

WOW is about all I can say!

You are so stoked - I LOVE the Yacht Club and perfect location for the race. When you are done you can just walk back through Epcot (if you are able to use a park ticket) and right to your room.And at the same price as CSR - that is AWESOME.

That is great news! I could use some like that as well but not expecting it since I booked POP. Oh well. No worries since I am only going to be using it to sleep and shower. My main experiences are going to be being with all of you.

Thanks! I am so shocked, I've never gotton any kind of upgrade before.

We won't have an extra park ticket to burn to cut through after the race (we are just getting 2 day tickets and no hoppers, going to DHS on Friday and MK on Saturday), will we be able to take a bus back to the YC?

And will we be able to walk through Epcot to the race start or do we take a bus?

I think there will be buses back to the resort after the race so you don't have to cut through. And Epcot won't be open in the AM so we all have to take buses. I am staying at the Dolphin.

DH and I will be at BC Friday-Sunday, then we have to move to WL because there wasn't enough room at BC for the last night. Thursday night we'll be at Pop for the same reason, but our flight doesn't get in until after 9 pm, so I'm not worried about it.

No bus service to HS, EPCOT they have boats to get there.

Event bus service to WWoS from all on property resorts so you will be able to use that transportation for the events.

That's a fabulous upgrade!!

You might want to check into the cost of upgrading to park-hoppers - it might be worth it just to be able to walk through Epcot to the Yacht Club, or to walk over and see Illuminations in the evening!

Same thing happened to us. I got an email from my tour operator "apologizing for the inconvenience", but Disney has moved us from CBR to BWI. My DS is a bit upset as he really wanted to stay at CBR, but BWI is my fave.

As someone staying at Coronado as part of a group, you're welcome! I'm guessing these group bookings might have contributed to the computer glitch. Awesome upgrade! I'm just hoping for enough pixie dust to get one of the queen/queen rooms instead of the 100 remaining double/double rooms.
