Just got home- any ???

For our sit down meals we ate at Konas, Chef Mickey's, Prime time, Coral Reef,, and 1900 park fare breakfast.

Best meal was a toss up between Chef Mickey's and Konas.

Worse meal by a landslide- Prime Time. Do not order the steak- it was the worse piece of meat we ever had. It was so tough we couldn't even cut it let alone chew and swallow. The waitress totally sucked. {can I say that on here} When I told her about our steaks she says- yeah, well, if you had asked me I would have told you not to order it. Geez, thanks. She says... you don't look happy- you look mad.
Ya think? We couldn't eat our meals.

Glad to hear you liked Chef Mickeys. We'll be trying it on our next trip. Did you go for breakfast or dinner?

Also thinking about trying Prime Time. Was it just your own meal that was bad or did everyone dislike it? I've heard that not all of the servers get into the antics- sorry to hear yours wasn't a winner.

At PTC, we only order some of their better known specials, the frid chicken, pot roast and meat loaf (although I saw a great review for their stuffed pepper recently)

I am funny about steak, will not order it out unless I am at a steakhouse type place, for the exact reason you experienced. I am surprised though they did not offer you something else.

What did you have at Kona? That is one of our favorite palces.

Chef Mickeys was for dinner. We've eaten there more times than I can remember. Always a winner!

My son and I ordered the steak- The rest of the family had fried Chicken, Salmon, and meatloaf. They were happy with their food.

My son and I had to share the meals from the rest of the gang- and get this the waitress says- well, at least you had other family to share with.

I had the Filet Mignon and it was the BEST! At first it was to rare {like still cool in the center} I was afraid to send it back because I didn't want it too done, but the 2nd time around was perfect. It was very good.

I have a mixed review for 1900 PF breakfast myself. We arrived at our ADR time- was handed a beeper... then waited and waited and waited - then finally at 10 am { we arrived at 9:25 am} I was just about to lose it when a lady started yelling our name.
Hmmm, we had a pager and it wasn't going off. She said we've been paging you for 20 mins. We hand her the pager and showed her it wasn't going off. The woman at check in put in the wrong numbers. That was really a pain, since we were leaving that morning and needed to hurry. So it didn't start off so great.

Next the characters were in our area- so we had to wait to get our food. I was totally disappointed with the way the bar was stocked. Too many empty bowls- out of french toast, bacon, pastries, you name it- it seemed to be empty. I finally asked for certain items to be brought out and stood to wait. NOT impressed. Sorry.

The food was good- but waiting for them to fill certain items was annoying.

We will not go there again. Trails End breakfast is much better, less crowded and always full when we've been there... not to mention 1/2 the price. No characters, but still.

I can't say I recommend it.
