DH, our 4ds (ages9,8,4 & 21mths) & myself got home late on 8/31. I really can't wait to plan our next trip. DH wants to wait a couple of years so I will have to wait too. :rolleyes1 We had such a good time that I'm sad to be home. Some highlights of our trip include: baby's 1st haircut, pirates cruise at GF, found a paintbrush on Tom sawyers island, Jr chef in epcot and saw the wiggles in MGM. We haven't done these in the past and really enjoyed them all. Also when we checked in at FW they gave us a VIP cabin. I couldn't believe it and asked several times if they were sure that there were cabins in the 100 loop. The cm must have thought I was crazy.

Anyway thanks to all for the help in planning the perfect trip! :cheer2:

We got back in July, from our first trip, and I'm still missing Disney World.

We went to a local pep rally this past weekend, and I told my husband it was more crowded than Disney, and there was no magic at all.

I don't know when we'll make it back, but, I know we will.

Sounds to me you both have had the Disney Kool-Aid. That's how the Disney Addict is born :cool1:

This year alone I will have gone 4 times.

Have fun - planning is part of the "addiction".

I know exactly how you feel. Except, I didn't wait until we got home to start planning. DH and I were discussing which hotel to stay in on our next trip - while we were still there! We would always say things like "next time, lets ....." It's nice to know you're planning to go back - it takes some of the depression away of the trip being over.

I know how you all feel. The last time we went to WDW was 4 years ago and I've been planning on going back ever since. Unfortunately life gets in the way and we've had to put it off for 4 years. We're leaving again in just over 2 weeks for a 6 day trip and I can't wait. It was a last minute decision to go so we're staying off-property. Something I'm not overly thrilled about, but we're trying to do this inexpensively.

I'm definitely a Disney addict and have been for who knows how long. When we had our big wedding (we eloped & then had a 2nd ceremony) our reception was Disney themed - right down to the guys changing into Black & White Mickey Mouse vests and ties for the reception. Our cake topper was even Mickey & Minnie dressed in wedding attire. It was a blast and everyone loved it. Now if only I could afford to do a renewal of vows at WDW. That would be fun!!!

It sounds like you had a wonderful trip! Hopefully it won't be too long before you're able to go back :)

How was the haircut?

We are hoping to do this in a couple weeks when we are there. Our son is 18 months old. I've cut his hair a few times, but he's never had a real haircut.

Did you have to get an appointment or did they take you as a walk up?

I have the post-Disney blues,too!!!

My dh, ds4 and ds2 went Aug. 13 - 19 and had a wonderful time!!! :sunny: Everything was perfect and we had a, well magical time! I was SO DEPRESSED  to come home and go back to school (I am a teacher) :teacher: .

Everyone is right - the only thing to make you feel better is plan the next trip! :yay:

Hoosier Mom

The haircut was great!!!! Once we found out about the Harmony Barber Shop we decided to wait for his 1st haircut no matter how long his hair got. Wow did it get long, he almost looked like a little girl. :rotfl: They don't take appointments, you just have to wait. We got there about 11:30 and only had to wait about 30 minutes. It was so worth it to see my little one sporting those first haircut mickey ears. I think the cost was $15 - no more than any other place. Have fun and enjoy your trip.

I hear ya...

We got back home on Sept 2nd and I am already checking into airfare and hotel for January! We are really thinking that this will be a twice a year trip for us. yipeee!!!

DH was even all on board to buy in to the DVC, but I think that was just a "vaction high" talking, becasue I don't think it makes economic sense to us right now. But maybe in a few years though !?! ;) THen I'll KNOW we'll be going A LOT.

Why can't I just live at Disney?
