I just got done with "The Vagabond" by Bernard Cornwell, and it was a great book. This is the second of three books in his Grail Quest series. I was never much of a reader until the Harry Potter Phenomenon, oh sure, I'd read newspapers and a magazine here and there, but never a book unless I had to, you know, those pesky book assignments for school. Well, I think I found another author I like. I can't wait to read some of his other works. Anyone else not much of a reader that discovered the joys of reading? What author or book(s) got you reading? Do you, fellow Dis'ers, have a particular author or series that you prefer to read? What kind of books do you read?
What got me reading was the Harry Potter series. I started the first book and then flew threw the other four fairly quickly, I started reading after the fourth book came out. And as for the author I like? I like J.K. Rowling and Bernard Cornwell. And right now, I like reading the historical novels, kings, knights and battles of that nature. So who's next?
