:cool1: I just got my first choice! :thumbsup2 It was not available at first and we booked the Poly, which were happy but not thrilled due to the bathroom situation (one sink in most rooms and no door to the toilet area) with a teenager girl and two boys who will be 10 at the time of travel, it wouldn't work for us. Also, no MK View or lagoon views available either, which I am positive we could have gotten by without, but really wanted a castle view. I am thrilled!

I am sending out MAJOR good vibes for EVERYONE who did not get their first choice :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes You just have to be vigilant and not give up. :wizard:

We love that view at the CR and have stayed there many time, even during hurricane Jeanne. You will love it.What was your price (if you don't care to post)? And when are you going and how many people?Sorry for so many questions, just like to keep up on the CR MK view and wishing we were there. We always have to get 2 rooms because we travel with at least 7 people and since so far it doesn't look like we can make a trip this year ( will be the first year in over 15 years),I'd just like some info on others going.Hope you all have a great trip and think of all of us who wish we were there.Don't forget to make your dining resv. early because they book up fast.Chef Mickeys is not to be missed even for adults. We all love it.Have a safe trip!

I was able to get POP too. :goodvibes: I had my TA check before I accepted the ressie for ASMu, and I'm glad I did! :thumbsup2

Chewysmom, that's awesome! I love when rooms open up and people get what they truly want. I just knew if we didn't give up, that people change their minds all the time and rooms would open up. I think that Disney has just opened up more rooms because it was very limited at first and now that the travel agents and airlines are involved they must have had to open them to meet the demand. I would think they would rather open up extra rooms with FD than them be left empty.

Mickeys friend, I don't mind at all telling you at all, here is the breakdown:

$3,917.00
5 people (2 Adults, 3 Disney Adults, that would be a 14 yo & 10 yo twins)
8 nights (9/21-9/29 my bday :thumbsup2 )
1 day base (my dd & I will upgrade when we get there, we have 2 hopper days left on our existing passes and all the boys have 5 day hoppers left and we also have 2 day water parks left).
FREE DINING! Wahooo!!!   (okay who could ever tire of that dancing banana??? lol)

Now all we have to do is book our flights, we're waiting for the flights on the way home to go down a bit, I may just book our way down now.

PS, we have stayed in Club Level before at CR MK View and LOVED it, however, NEVER been in the new rooms and are SOOOO excited (we're not going to waste money on club level because we already have free dining, it's crazy to spend the extra, for us anyway)! My dd is LOVIN' the decor and from the pictures, so am I. I also liked those crazy rooms they had before, thought they were nice. Oh and Chef Mickey's is our first stop, lol. Thanks!

Well, yeah for another Goo Lover!!! :)
Just saw them in concert...Anyhoo...

A Big Yahoo for you:)
I kept trying as well....didnt give up, wanted to try CSR and keep expenses low , and it opened up. Have switched 3 resorts already trying to get the right dates/resort!
I have Resort Commitment Disorder....we may change to a deluxe still...lol..no, I am happy to try a Mod this time, so I can compare all 3 levels:)
Have fun..I actually priced CR out, due to a monorail resort. We could do a wing, garden view...jury is out.
Til 8/31..lol

Oh Disneybride03 my Goo Lovin' Sista! (DO NOT GET ME STARTED! LOL) Just saw them in Boston with my Goo Girls, 3rd row, thank you! lol We are waiting for tix to the Tweeter to go on sale, my friends are inner machine members so hopefully we'll get GOOd seats, but it's hard at the Tweeter. They are going to be in the area next Friday, I'm still debating. I probably spend as much on Goo as I do on Disney :lmao: LOVE THEM

If you've never stayed at CSR, let me tell you, we loved it. We stayed in the Cabana's (9A or B) closest to the bus/pepper market/pool facing the water, we even saw fireworks one night but don't know where they came from, lol. Great resort, real nice pool and we loved the pepper market. The bus service was a little lacking at first, but I think it was due to them being caught off guard by the amount of guests, but within a couple of days, I noticed a huge change in the bus service. I would definitely stay there again no problem, the resort is beautiful at night too.

HAVE FUN!!

You got me started!! lol..Saw them the Friday I got back from Disney...what a week:) I had 3rd row too!!!!!!!!!!!! My DH drove me to the theater, and picked me up, what a guy! (he was home with DD 9mths) Love them love them

Sorry off topic......speaking of my DH and your CR....he watched the Disney Planning DVD...so unlike him. And now mentions, what abt the CR??? Its on the monorail!! I didnt tell him I already priced it out...lol..just thinking of the little one, stroller etc....However, I dont see a kiddie pool anywhere. How baby friendly is CR? She will be 14 mth old...The beds look heavenly:)

Congragulations on getting the best view in all of the WDW Resorts. Your going to love it and wish you can have the same view everytime you travel to WDW.

Okay we're officially started! lol I have a picture that I took of Johnny that night (who by the way just had a molar pulled and was on ahem...medication and told us all we looked like little angels with halo's over our heads :lmao: ) on my phone wallpaper so I get to see his gorgeous face everyday :cloud9: . Did you go to the concert alone or do you have offical GOObuddies like me OKAY QUICK GOO STORY!! (my GOObuddies, me and my sister traveled to Buffalo to see them and YES I swear to God, we just got there after an 8 hour drive and I brought two crowns with me, being a Princess, a Cinderella my casual and a Belle my dress crown, lol and I walked out of my hotel room with the Dress Crown on my head and heard a door slam, looked up and Johnny was standing 10 feet from me! I was in shock, called to my sister, yelled OH MY GOD and Johnny jumped back and laughed held his chest and said "you scared me" I said something SO ridiculous to him like "I just drove all the way from my country to see you tonight!" He was laughing saying something like "oh really, that was so nice of you" We were laughing and I was so in shock I never even asked him for his picture! I think because I looked HORRIBLE after an 8 hour drive and I didn't want to offend him, lol. I remember him saying something like "see you tonight" and went down the stairway and he was gone. They ROCKED the house that night btw, as you can imagine in Buffalo!   :cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9: Ahhh....you got me started!!!

Okay, about CR, if it were up to me and I had a 9 mo, YES I would definitely make the switch. We stayed there when the twins were just about 3 and it was unbelievably convenient. Kiddie, pool, hmmm....don't remember one, but do remember the boys learned to swim there with their vests they give to you and there is the beach which kept my boys occuppied most of the time. They basically sat in the sand playing with their disney figurines and I got some quiet time just lying there watching ;) . They do have a quiet pool but I don't recall that being a kiddie pool. I believe there was a ledge at one edge of the pool with wide stairs that the boys played on mostly. The resort was VERY kid friendly, our first stay there was in the Tower Club (that's what it was called at the time) and on Halloween Night, they had a party for the kids and they got to make NASTY SUGAR ON TOP OF SUGAR cookies lol and all kinds of fun crafts with the CM's, they were real sweet. I stayed in a wing room with my kids by myself while dh was in school and they took great care of us. I know there is an official thread on the main resort board and on the main dis page there is info. I will try and find some info for you. I will warn you, that if your DH stays there, he will NOT want to ever stay off a monorail resort again! Mine is a monorail snob, he hates waiting for buses (like anyone loves to wait  ) and he loves the conveniece, I think he just likes to see if he can get up front with the driver ;) Then again, we took our DD 10 mo at the time and stayed off site and had no problem, we've stayed at ASMu and POP, no problems either. CSR, I believe it was a fluke, so even if you don't do a monorail resort, the buses at Disney are usually really very good.

LOL Okay I think that is the LONGEST post I have ever made, this calls for some dancing bananas!!!

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would have died if I was standing in front of His Hotness!!!!!!!!!!! lol
What a story!!!! I love the Buffalo Live DVD! Yowza!
I have no Goo Buddies, so that is why I went solo...I made friends and we moved up to the stage! It was at a theater with hardly any security people, everyone was cool though!

Sorry if we are off topic:) She did start the thread:)

Anyway...
thanks for all the info on the CR!!! DH threw his 2 cents in, he wants WL! I am fine wiht it, as long as we are in the MK area! He has already stayed at the other monorail resorts..so he loves the convenience! He likes the Pacific Northwest theme, very manly you know, all those Big Timbers there!! lol
You will have an awesome Birthday trip!!! What is your fave Goo song? To be continued.....
