I just got back from 10 wonderful days at WDW. Here are the places I ate. Let me know if you have any questions.

California Grill
Boma (dinner)
Crystal Palace (lunch)
Chef Mickey's (breakfast)
San Angel Inn
Hollywood and Vine (Fantasmic Dinner Package)
Cinderella's Royal Table (breakfast)

Lots of counter service:
French Quarter food court - yuck!
Pinnochio's Village Haus
Pecos Bill's Cafe
Pizzafari
Lottawatta Lodge

Welcome home!!! Looks like you picked some good restuarants there.

I have a question about Chef Mickeys. Did they have pancakes there? Weve eaten there a few times and while I think Ive heard they do have them, I cant remember ever seeing any. Thanks for any info! :D

Yes, they did have pancakes. The food was fantastic. I've been to many character meals and I was really impressed with Chef Mickey's.

Thanks DisKim! We have eaten there a few times and tried a couple other character breakfasts too. I agree that the others jut dont seem to measure up to CMs. We really love the breakfast pizza. :D Cant wait to get back there in a couple weeks.

How was Boma?
I know what ya mean about French Quarter Food Court! I hated their food court when we stayed on that property!
Also, how did it work out with Pal Mickey?...Can't wait for my turn!!!

Hi - How was San Angel Inn? I always read mixed reviews about this restaurant and we have been afraid to try it. Thanks

What was your favorite counter service meal?:wave2:

Aspiring Cindy - Boma cannot be described as anything but awesome!! I ate so much I thought I was literally going to die. The food is nothing I ever tried before so I had to try everything. Everything is so good that you end up cleaning your plate. The soups were to die for. I tried all of them. All the desserts were incredible. I especially loved the banana bread pudding. The Pal Mickey swap went great. I swapped him with Aisling. My DD didn't want to give him up. I almost bought one but she stopped bugging me. The coolest thing was in Epcot. We rode Test Track, got off and rode again. When we were going on for the second time, Pal Mickey said, "All right! We're going on again. This time I'll drive." That kind of freaked me out!

Sherry8253 - I was afraid to eat at San Angel Inn too but my love for Mexican food made me disreagard the warnings and I'm glad I did. The food was excellent (and I've eaten alot of Mexican food). I had the Plato Mexicano. It was delicious. My DD8 even loved her chicken quesadilla. It was a nice break from chicken nuggets and hot dogs. Our server was freindly and attentive. Best of all, there was a band playing right in front of the restaurant which just made the atmosphere so much fun. Of course, I was so hot and hungry, any place would have seemed like an oasis to me!

What was your favorite counter service meal?

My favorite counter service was Pecos Bill's in MK. They have a great fixins bar. The cm's are actually behind the fixins bar frying up onions and mushrooms for the burgers. They also have hot cheese for the fries which my DD really loved. My DH loaded up his burger! I had a chicken ceasar wrap which was really good.

Hi DisKim - Thanks for your quick response. We always try 2 new restaurants on each trip. My DH and I each pick a place that we havent tried before. I think this year my choice is going to be San Angel. I love Mexican food too. And, I agree about Pecos Bill chicken wrap. It is very yummy!!!! I am glad that you had a great trip... now you will have to start planning the next one. :D

Please tell me what's yucky about the POFQ food court! We are staying there in Jan and now I'm scared. Thanks

The grill area looked greasy and kind of dirty to me. The chicken club wrap was just awful and I'm not a fussy eater. The pasta was greasy like it was cooked with a ton of oil so it wouldn't stick. The hamburgers and hot dogs were ok and the chicken ceasar salad was good. The grilled chicken sandwich was good too. I'd stick to those choices. If you have kids, they had grilled cheese and chicken nuggets which were both fine. Desserts were good. Make sure to try the beignets. Those are ourtageous. I didn't mean to scare you. There are plenty of decent choices. I just thought the counter service in the parks was much better.
